Rick Ross just learned a hard lesson about r*pe and money ... you embrace one, you lose the other ... because he was just DUMPED by Reebok.

As TMZ previously reported ... Ross has taken a ton of heat for his song, U.O.E.N.O ... in which he happily sings, "Put Molly all in the champagne. She ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain't even know it." Translation -- date r*pe.

Reebok tells TMZ ... "Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so."

Reebok goes on: "While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones s3xual a.ssault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse."

Reebok

The highlighted portion is where he's fu*king up. He continually states, "Apologies if you guys interpreted my line as a date r*pe line", as if our interpretation is the issue . Hopefully him losing out on this paper will smack some sense into him.

Reebok main problem is that they tryna get relevant again...

But they doing it all backwards.. Instead of spending all this money on these weak a.ss rap n*ggas

They need to be taking that same budget, and buying off the designers from Nike. Or at least get some athletes wearing your sh*t again..

Let this be a lesson to them
They shouldn't have never given up shaq as a sponser. I bet reebok would have capitolized off of all them championships shaq won with the lakers. that was actually a great partnership that ended too soon. them shaq retros reebok brought back out were/are the sh*t.

Reebok trying to be "too cool"

Their goal is to rebrand as like a "Boutique" brand like Creative Recs and Supra were a few year back..

Instead of being an athletics brand again.. They hustling backwards..
