man this is really sad but the problem is 7 - 4 + 3 x 0+ 1=?

(P)lease (e)xcuse (m)y (d)ear (a)unt (s)ally.....so

P - parenthesis
E - exponents
M - multiply
D - divide
A - add
S - subtract.....so

7 - 4 + (3 x 0) + 1=?

P - none
E - none
M - multiply 1st: 7 - 4 + (3 x 0) + 1 = 7 - 4 + 0 + 1
D - none
A - add 2nd: 7- 4 + 0 + 1 = 7 - 5
S - subtraction last : 7 - 5 = 2......dumbass

if you type it on any calculator, the calculator will do it from left to right. calculators don't make mistakes on dumb fools using calculators make mistakes. i advise a lot of you that aren't in school to go to Barnes and Noble and find algebra for dummies.....gone
yo im fu*king screammminggggg .. you wrote out all that sh*t to try and achieve a sticker while insulting people who are intelligent enough to figure it out.. you are hopeless, i pray you are sterile

I know the answer of course
First parenthesis (1+2) = (3). (Notice it's still in parenthesis )[but parenthesis rule is that you work what's IN PARENTHESIS SO SINCE ITS ALREADY WORKED OUT just leave it in parenthesis you will need it later
then 6/2 = 3 (division came first)
then 3(3) = 9 [see]

simple

correct me if I'm wrong

There is nothing confusing about this equation

7 - 4 + 3 x 0+ 1=?

7 + (-4) + 3 x 0 + 1=

7 + (-4) + 0 + 1=

7 + (-4) + 1=

7 + (-3)=

7 - 3=

4

I know the answer of course
9! you do all that sh*t separately and then you multiply. Since the division is to the left you do it before you multiply.

Without the brackets, it's not clear where the brackets are meant to go.

It could be: 7 - 4 + (3 x 0) + 1 = 4

Or: 7 - (4 + (3 x 0) + 1) = 5

Or: 7(-4 + (3 x 0) + 1) = - 21

sh*t it could even be: 7(-4 + 3) x (0 + 1), or any number or combinations, really.

It's deliberately confusing because the person who wrote it is a math nerd who was trying to get one over on people, not realizing that, actually, no one needs this skill except a few select people.

Where in the law of Math was it ever stated that parenthesis are required? Most people aren't even introduced to parenthesis until AFTER they are very familiar with the format of the equation in the OP. If there are no parenthesis, you simply continue down the line of the order of operations. You're acting as if the absence of parenthesis means the abandonment of basic mathematic law.

And who uses this sh*t after high school? Not many people.
Basic algebra is still a pretty simple concept. I haven't studied the sh*t since like 9th or 10th grade of high school and still remember it. Mathematics are a universal language, it's a skill you should try to brush up on if the equation in the OP is something you cannot solve correctly.
