Its true though... Nicki "lyrically" > Trinidad James, Gucci, Chief Keef, Rocko, Wacka, Wiz, 50 Cent, Rick Ross, etc.

She just chooses to dumb down her verses for more money... instead of caring more about the culture, her integrity, her fans, and last but not least... HER LEGACY!

Nicki nice, but got caught up with the Down South Trap music.

If Nicki kept it NYC, she would get more respect.

For every dope line she has, there will be 20 terrible lines and that's when she's not dumbing her music down.

More like she got caught up in the pop, rapping gimmicks. Her style is nothing like down south trap music and never really was even though she was down with Gucci and OJ Da Juiceman for a while.

She was doing that gimmick barbie crap even when she was doing tracks with Yo Gotti, Gucci, etc

You might be right, but shes a.ssociating herself with non lyrical rappers, and wants respect.

Sometimes, your only as the company you keep around you.

Let's not act like Ross and even Gucci don't have some lyrical verses under their belt.

Nikki doesn't get credit because she is a sellout, if she was rappin like Mc lyte or aggressive like da brat she would be considered lyrical

No-sign Nicki being lyrically superior to 50, Gucci, or Ross. Guess Who's Back alone is a huge leap over anything Nicki ever recorded. Gucci has several top flight verses under his belt, and Nicki fans should know, because it was Gucci that was putting her on songs back during the Wilt Chamberlain mixtape series era. Deeper Than Rap also is superior to anything Nicki has dropped. She was overrated, even when she was bubbling.

I give everybody an honest listen, and all I heard was a girl who had clearly been heavily influenced by Lil' Wayne, Jay-Z, and other superior male rappers. Even Beam Me Up Scotty, which some people talk about like it's Dedication 2 or Trap Or Die, isn't all that great. She's had a few decent verses here and there, but even the Monster verse wasn't anything spectacular. If she didn't have so many gullible female fans who idolize her and think she's doing something more than re-heating old styles, and so many male fans who are blinded by the fact that she's physically attractive, her fanbase would be nonexistent.

And she never got caught up in down south music, she sold the hell out as soon as she got half the chance to. Her 2 LPs are mostly pop music, and even her most popular underground mixtape is her doing her own version of songs like Best I Ever Had, Live Ya Life and Donk. She was alright as a guest on the old school Gucci tapes, but that's where it stops, IMHO.

Mainstream rappers lyrically she's not better than Wayne, Ross, Meek, Wale, 50, Drake, Jeezy, Nas, Kendrick. T.I., Kanye, Jay, Big Sean. & a bunch more wtf, im dissapointed in boxden rite now.

She's better than 30% of "The Hottest Mcs List". It might be 40% I don't listen to Ross, but from what I hear on the street he's been spittin extra garbage lately. But his best verse>>>>>> Nicki's

Also if producers like T-Minus didn't lace her with some good sh*t.... The only songs I like of hers T-Minus produced them.... The beat so good I can ignore the wack verses...
