Of course an average 6'8 guy isn't going to be "soft" around people that are typically smaller.

LeBron is going against people closer to his size, and not use too them playing physical on him, and he's bi*ching about it.. Jordan was getting fu*king closed lined, and body slammed by the Pistons and didn't bi*ch to the league about it. Didnt say a word about the Knicks.. LeBron is a diva, and acting soft.
Hold on now, Jordan complained about getting fouled too, but he just came back a k!lled em next time he got on the court with em. Everybody complains about calls, who the fu*k cares... At the end of the day, n*ggas keep bringing up what Jordan did, what he would do today, what LeBron would do back then. No one will never know so n*ggas need to get over it. The game has changed as did everything else in the world. LeBron is the best player currently hands down. That's it that's all...

so he pretty played the softest position outside of QB on the offensive end?
You say that like its a bad thing tho. As a reciever you have to go out onto the field of play and establish your position and be able to catch a ball being thrown. They often times have another player doing everything he can within the rules of the game to keep you from being able to catch the ball. You have to establish better position than your defender(s). And that translates into the game of basketball. That translates into being able to move without the ball and catch a pass for an open shot. That translates into being able to get around defenders to create scoring opportunities.

whats the difference between an intentional foul to send somebody to the line? or to stop someone when you have a foul to give before the bonus? As long as you weren't trying to seriously hurt somebody it isn't a flagrant.

yall heat fans need to pull ya heads out of each others a.sses.

brons shoulder was unneccessary and excessive

hinrich's wasn't (its arguable but lets be real, the dude is a shrimp compared to lebron, it's really all he could do with a foul to give to stop lebron...and people wrap up all the time with intentional fouls)

nor was gibsons, he was going after the ball.

learn the rules bi*ches.
if your stupid a.ss knew the rules yourself, you'd know that "going for the ball" is not part of them. flagrant 1: unnecessary contact. flagrant 2: unnecessary and excessive contact. "intent" is not a factor. when the league reviews them, they take that under consideration, but it doesn't absolve you.

The League Office will consider the following factors (as well as any other relevant facts and circumstances) in determining whether to classify a foul as Flagrant "1" or Flagrant "2", to reclassify a flagrant foul, or to impose a fine and/or suspension on the player involved:

1. The severity of the contact;

2. Whether or not the player was making a legitimate basketball play (e.g., whether a player is making a legitimate effort to block a shot; note, however, that a foul committed during a block attempt can still be considered flagrant if other criteria are present such as recklessness and hard contact to the head);

3. Whether, on a foul committed with a player's arm or hand, the fouling player wound up and/or followed through after making contact;

4. The potential for injury resulting from contact (e.g., a blow to the head and a foul committed while a player is in a vulnerable position);

5. The severity of any injury suffered by the offended player; and

6. The outcome of the contact (e.g., whether it led to an altercation).

why is lebron judged by diffrent standards then other players... they did this on the radio down here they pulled up after game quotes from kobe night after night crying about the refs... kobe stays whinning to the refs in game, whenever he misses a shot hes grilling the ref or slapping his hands or doing some sh*t crying about a call..... a matter fact all players do... but then again lebron is judged diffrently.... he cant do sh*t without one of these salty a.ss haters who lebron didnt pick to play for cry about how lebron did this and lebron did that
cuz LeBron went on air and expressed an essay of complaints to the medi, he spoke uninterrupted for about 3 mins lol, i mean seriously who does that? fu*k they do that at? Bottom line, cuz is too big, too strong ,and too damn good to display that amount of bi*chassness.

You say I don't know the rules THEN SAY EXACTLY WHAT I SAID THE RULES WERE smh idiot
...and what is the point your trying to make exactly dumbass?
you justified gibson by saying it's OK because he was "going for the ball." it clearly says if you do something reckless, it doesn't matter if you're "going for the ball," and that that isn't even part of the referee's interpretation. what i posted was what the league considers upon review. i thought just explaining the referee part was enough for your remedial self to understand. ignorant child, cop more pleas.

lebron isnt tough, or strong, in relation to his staure. he's fu*king 6'8" if he weighed anything less than 230 he'd look like an ethiopian.

Seems like a while back, Lebron went for about 5 games, without getting one foul called against him. He's a GREAT player, but come on, NO FOULS IN A WEEK? Gimme a break! He really shouldn't be complaining AT ALL! He could be the greatest of all time. But, he usually runs over someone a couple of times every game! And they call blocking, 90% of the time! Who knows! Good discussion right here! No need to bring in the hate! No need!
