There's still the mental part, especially if it pops on your own movement. Then anytime you try and walk right after and your knee buckles...you start to doubt your knee even after it heals. Some people get over it, others don't. I still can't play football without a brace, and even then I don't carry a pile or f!ght for extra yards anymore.
