TMobile : sg4 $100 + 20x24 = $580
Unltd plan $55 x $24m = $1320
Total price * $1900

Sprint : sg4 $200
Unltd plan $80+ x 24m = $1920
Total Price* $2120
Wrong.

Sprint: $200 Galaxy S IV + ($80 unlimited plan * 24 months) = $2,120

T-Mobile: $100 Galaxy S IV down payment + ($70 unlimited plan + $20 monthly phone payment * 24 months) = $2,260

I thought you said these new plans don't have taxes?

Regulatory Programs Fee of up to $1.61 per line/month applies. Taxes approximately 6–28 percent of your monthly bill.

F*ckin moron.

You don't pay before you use the Simple Choice plans you dumbass. You get a bill at the end of each month you f*ckin moron. Why do you think it says they'll tax you "approximately 6–28 percent of your monthly bill?" How could they tax before you've even used the plan? Jesus Christ.

So... Some if you know you have to qualify for these deals, right?

If you don't pass the credit check, you don't get the S4 for $99.

This is not some prepaid plan, these are the UK style tarrifs where you are still strung along on a two year plan unless you buy a phone off contract.

Honestly, just get your credit up and sign up for Verizon. My service is amazing.

For you dumb fu*ks. The biggest win about tmobile plans is that you can pay the phone off in full at any given time and get a new smartphone at any time or change service at any time after you pay off the phone. So lets say I bought a galaxy s4 and want the note 3, all id have to do is pay off the remaining balance on the gs4, and then easily get a note 3 with no fu*king penalty. Its a win win for everyone. Youre not locked in for two years for dumbfu*ks who cant think crititically. Makes it easy to have the latest and greatest without having to pay all that cash up front and can spread it out.

so essentially the remaining price on the phone is about how much an ETF would cost if you ended your contract early.

Damn I wanna hop off this Evo LTe and cop the Gs4 but is this worth it? seems like it would be better to just sign a 2 year with t-mobile

Sprint: $200 Galaxy S IV + ($80 unlimited plan * 24 months) = $2,120

T-Mobile: $100 Galaxy S IV down payment + ($70 unlimited plan + $20 monthly phone payment * 24 months) = $2,260

Not worth it unless you plan on keeping the S IV for 3 or more years.

damn!!!

Edit: just read the article...so it's just a downpayment and you end up paying 600 for the phone over two years? Might aswell just get the 2 year contract and pay 200...save urself 400 in the long run
 pete jr said:
So you're still paying full price for the phone? Just locked into a $20 a month 2 year contract. Even if you switch phones(which most people do within 2 years) you'll still be paying on it for 2 years.

T-Mobile is just giving you a better option to save some bread. AT&T/Verizon/Sprint all include the 600+ price of the phone into your 2 year contract and even after your contract is up the price of your monthly plan stays the same.

If you go with the truly unlimited plan from T-Mobile it's $90 a month ($70 Plan + $20 Phone). Which is still $20 a month cheaper than a unlimited talk/text (Data Unlimited from sprint $110, verizon 4GB $110, att 5GB $140). But you can choose to pay low as $70 a month ($50 Plan + $20 Phone).

Now what I'm gonna do is cash out full price for my next phone (SG S4, HTC ONE, or the Nexus 5) and get the $30 plan Unlimited text/data 5GB @ 4G, 100 min (Unlimited min with google voice).
