1. Genetics. If your grandfather on your mothers side was bald, you have the trait. if your father is then its definitely curtains.
2. Pulling hairstyles. Dreads, braids, ponytails.
3. Getting lineups too frequently. 2 weeks is fine. if you get fu*ked up, wait a month.
When i cut my braids in 05, i cut my sh*t damn near bald and let it grow back for 6 weeks before i went back. I wanted an accurate representation of my hairline at that point. Hats/durags have nothing to do with the hair loss.
If its in your genetics, its GOING to happen, what i said above can accelerate it. it doesnt matter if you're 19 or 39. you cant beat male hairloss. unless u get some sort of surgery.
