So Kobe fans are mad that people aren't celebrating their hero?

That's what you're here for, Kobe fan.

Not to mention this guy will probably milk another 6 seasons after this year.

People said the same thing after Kareem and worthy and magic retired.

Few years later we got Kobe and shaq.

Lakers always recruit talent to compete for chips, that's what we do in LA, we either win big or lose big, but we stay big baby. No homo.

Kobe won 5 in a much softer Era than Jordan did, so don't give me that bullsh*t.
I can already see ppl using this when/if Lebron or KD get multiple rings. If Kobe's era was soft then this era is the softest & only getting softer.

Are you trying to use game results to talk sh*t?

I'm pretty sure the Lakers needed a 20-0 run to end the game (plus the Hornets leaving them with a wide open basket with 20 seconds left) just to beat the Hornets by 6

Yeah if we talkin basketball skill, there are not alot that many that are as impressive as Kobe. The rest are forgettable. Kobe, Bron, Durant, Wade and that is it.

Other guys have a shot if they step it up tho. Kyrie can be one of them.

Kobe is 34 years old which makes everything he does right now even more impressive. He not 24.

Some of yall so sensitive to Kobe praise yall missing the point. There will be others who can match or better Kobe's output...this thread isn't arguing that point. This thread is about Kobe's style of play and his approach to achieving his output. This thread is about appreciating being a witness to Kobe Bryant exemplifying the game of someone who has approached MASTERY in every aspect of the game of basketball...a true rarity.

Kobe is as good a passer and floor general as Steve Nash, far superior to ANY current NBA center in post moves, and is exceptional at the skills most relevant to his own SG position. To watch one player demonstrate perfect execution of every skillset is ART. No situation could nullify him; he's the most comfortable player in the NBA by far. Kobe Bryant's nickname shouldn't be Black Mamba, it should be Mew.

This. n*ggas need to get their Basketball IQ's up

Kobe being hated on this hard for how talented and even more important, how he's the hardest working, dedicated athlete of his generation and quite possibly ever is just disrespectful.

I feel where you guys are coming from, league certainly won't be the same when people like Kobe and Duncan retire. These guys played when there were actually rivalries in the fu*king league. Now you got this soft a.ss, flop for fouls league. After Kobe leaves, sh*t could go downhill. Kobe stans and Lebron stans get on my nerves, listening to that argument where the same things are said over and over is a bore but I think Lebron stans are worse than kobe stans

For real. If people wanna use that excuse between Jordan and Kobe, what will they say about LeBron or KD if they get multiple rings?

Did you guys even read the original post? This is the problem with Boxden, people are always trying to make it into a 'WHO'S BETTER' argument. It's not about SURPASSING Kobe, it's about watching basketball itself. Superstars such as LeBron and KD are great and they might even surpass Kobe in terms of accomplishments in the future, but there is NOBODY in the league that plays the game like Kobe. Kobe is the closest we've had, in terms of playing style, to Michael Jordan. You can't sit here and tell me LeBron or KD plays like Jordan.

So ur saying Kobe is a clone... when we looking back in time his playing style and game will be compared to and will be trumped by the originator's (Mike) game rather than how Durant and LeBron both have their own styles of play and lanes they are creating. Oh ok I get it.
