okay cool, so answer my question then.

other than the plight of the black male, which only a handful of rappers rap about, what about hip-hop today represents African American culture?
Well for one its not all about cars and money and bi*ches.

Everything, from life experiences of a black male to political views from a black persons perspective to the clothes and shoes popular today to the racism that we still face to tips on what we can do to improve our community to how some people did certain things to get money.

There are a lot of rappers underground that rap about it. They aren't hard to find.

The only shame of it is the fact that underground rappers are mainly heard by white audiences. Its really a shame because these artist should be major role model figures in communities. I feel that if the youth wasn't to worried about "being young n gettin it" They could really learn something from underground artists
