i dont see how supreme is exclusive when its one of the most hyped up streetwear brands
n most of supremes designs are ripped off other companies/plays on existing sh*t
its the hypebeast go-to/brand of choice
Supreme is the first streetwear brand that I saw go hard with florals in these recent collections, so there is innovation and risk taking. Otherwise, I don't really see the rips. Are we talking about the standard red box and Futura font logo? Every brand has a plain, all-season logo tee. The more apt criticism for Supreme is the mark-up on collabs where their logos are only embroidered. They take standard Champion and North Face SKUs, get a different color, and throw in a Supreme logo. Same deal on the fitteds.
But it can't be a go-to brand if nothing is an easy cop. OBEY is a go-to brand because it's in your local mall or at Zumiez or something. I think Diamond Supply is headed that way. Those PLNDR brands are giveaways, too.
Some of the dudes who rock Supreme might look like lames and cornballs, but it doesn't cater to every geek who thinks brands = swag. It's not all Lady Gaga t-shirts and red baseball gloves. They dropped a hard leather flight jacket last season, a hooded coaches jacket, and they did a few jerseys. With Pyrex in the mix, jerseys are on the way back.
