at some points its genetics. I think it's hilarious how people act like guys don't do legs just because they aren't stalky as fu*k.
pretty much this. I'm now doing legs 2x as much as upper but it'll never match my upper because everyone in my family just has skinny calves.

oh well. Got that Justice League look, lol

Wish I could do backflips. regular burpees bore the sh*t out of me. might try to add the 350 pushup to it or something.

Not everyone is born with tree stalks,I 10X squat 2 caddies, 75 on leg extensions, 70 on single leg curl, 1 caddy hack squats at least once a week and my sh*ts aren't gigantor weighing 160.

Think about it for a sec... It's part show but it does add some level of angle intensity to the muscle contraction.

Just last year in may 2012 i weighed 220 lbs.............by the beginning of october 2012 i weighed 178 lbs and have remained at that weight since.

These one thing you all didnt consider, consistency. This man has YEARS and YEARS of training, researching and experimenting of lifting. He didnt just lift for 1 year or 2 years, he probably has a decade , minimum of lifting and exercising under his belt, accompanied with knowledge of proper diet and form ,and perfecting it over the years. Anyone really can do it, its just a matter of how dedicated are you? How far are you willing to push yourself.

I see people come in the gym everyday for the past couple of years doing the same improper techniques, not pushing themselves, using the same weight, plus a little more. Neglecting the core aspect of lifting, weight Olympic, power or bodybuilding. They all have the same core values.

Doing curls and bench isn't going to get you being able to do clap pullups and pistol squats or muay thai pushups.

After a year of serious training I was able to do clap pushups, but I pushed myself, I didnt do pulldowns anymore, I started doing rigorousness weighted pullups. Starting with just a ten pound plate, then a 25, then a 45, etc. Then the pullups became easier, because I pushed myself, researched the proper form of executing it. Same goes for squats, deadlifts. Learning the proper techniques, focusing on secondary muscles such as the core and traps, lower back and abs. They all work together.
