the sad thing is all cigarette smokers know this for the most part and still smoke.
if you don't die from smoking, you're gonna die from something else. smoking directly doesn't k!ll you, it just increases the risk of diseases. I think those numbers are blown out of proportion (5,000,0000 or whatever the number is of people dying every year.) a smoke has a heart attack and is labeled a death from smoking. Maybe the dude was bound to have a heart attack whether he smoked or not. I believe if you have an active lifestyle and say you smoke 5 or 6 cigarettes a day, the risks are far less. but the problem is people don't know how to control themselves and smoke much more. it needs to be done in moderation, just like everything else (drinking, marijuana, even too much water can k!ll you.)
with that being said I've cut down to like 3 or 4 a day the past few weeks, some days i haven't even smoked, and Plan on completely quitting soon, possibly starting today, haven't had one yet. I've always smoked in moderation though but sometimes when I go out for coffee or if I'm drunk I feel like lighting one up every 10 minutes. when I'm at home though i don't smoke much. but the last few times we went out for coffee I've controlled myself and only took 3 cigarettes with me
