damn how can u cut this dude after this year that cold
They let Dilfer walk after he won them a Super Bowl, not saying he was hella good or anything just saying. Flacco should def take a some sort of pay cut for now and possibly restructure it later on

Anquan was a huge reason the Ravens got deep in the playoffs and won the Superbowl but he's not worth resigning unless he agrees to stay for cheap. He's 32 and his last few regular seasons have been mediocre. I'd hate to see him leave the Ravens because he epitomizes the tuffness of the team but I'm sure some team will overpay him due to his unbelievable clutch playoff run

we rarely sign these types of Free Agents tho. The two biggest names I can even remember signing from free agency are Byron Leftwich and Jerricho Cotchery

Doesn't matter either way. The Ravens are not going to be contenders next year either way. They are going to have a relatively young defense with no real leader. Look how they fell apart when Papa Lewis missed the middle of the season? And you add to that Ed being gone as well.

Enjoy the moment Baltimore!

After all the Ravens went through with lack of WR options past few years with TJ (who used to play for SEA/Cincy) and Lee Evans, I'm hoping Flacco be the bigger person and take a good contract for the team to bring back Boldin and Jacoby

The agent for Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco said Tuesday he thinks his client should be the highest paid at the position in the NFL.

Agent Joe Linta, when asked in an interview with CNBC whether Flacco should be the highest-paid quarterback, simply responded, "Yes."

Flacco, 28, is younger than Peyton Manning ($18 million) and Drew Brees ($20 million), and, as of Sunday, has as many Super Bowl titles as each of them. Linta said those are the numbers that matter.

"When you do a contract of this magnitude, you look at what is the player's body of work presently," Linta told CNBC. "And what are the expectations going forward over the next four, five or six years.

"Joe wins on both accounts."

Flacco passed for 1,140 yards, 11 touchdowns and zero interceptions in the Ravens' four-game postseason run, which ended Sunday with a 34-31 win against the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl.

Flacco was selected by the Ravens in the first round of the 2008 draft and this season became the only quarterback to win a playoff game in each of his first five seasons.
Heres to hoping Joe is the highest paid player in the league

Dude deserves it
