I still remember popping that C.D. in, and listening to that CD like it was Second Coming of Christ. Hip-Hop has fallen off, dude.

Best song on the album IMO.

Overall though, GRODT is one of those albums I liked but wouldn't consider classic. No album with Wanksta and 21 questions I'd consider a classic, but I get why others like it so much..most of the album did bang and it was everywhere that year. One of those albums where you've probably heard almost every song played somewhere you've been besides just playing it yourself. You could hear one joint on the radio, hear another one blasting from a dude's car as he rolls up when you go to school, hear another song in the club, etc.
Every time those songs come on the radio, I turn the volume up in my car and my head automatically gets to noddin'. The entire CD is a classic, from the beginning to the end.

Man I remember the gunitworld days. Lived on those forums back then. This album is still one of hip-hop's biggest moments, even 50 haters know that.

Remember not even liking dude back in 03 (was listening to a lot of Eminem and Cam, and 50 was just another NY n*gga to me), even though that In Da Club was poppin, took me an entire year to become a fan. I listened to GRODT from start to finish in early 2004 after listening to some early 50 tapes (Guess Who's Back, POTD, some early G-Unit Radio cuts). I listened to his more hardcore street stuff before the album, when I did listen to GRODT it reaffirmed dude is mad talented. 10 years later I'm still a huge G-Unit fan and regardless of some misses he releases, dude didn't make records, he created moments to remember!

Even you can remember the first time you heard "What Up Gangster", Game's "How We Do", "Hate It Or Love It", "Candy Shop", "I Get Money", you can front on these forums, I know you remember those moments

when grodt dropped and ppl were anticipating g unit's 1st album and then banks & buck i think that was a time when hip hop was more interesting and i think it won't ever be recaptured the same way again. things just aren't the same anymore

Still remember that sh*t like it was yesterday.

No rapper will ever have a buzz that big again. 50 came into the game and just shook everything up.

Never seen anything like it before that, haven't seen anything like it since.

I remember being a Freshmen in high school when that joint dropped. That was before the majority of n*ggas knew how to get music free, or early.

n*ggas was cutting class to cop that joint, to make sure they was up on it.

haha word, i was in middle school. Had that bootlegg liek 2 days early tho. But yea the hype around this album was outta this world def. Thats because he had them mixtapes that were CRAZY and at the time he started his own formula by getting on these industry n*ggas beats and k!lling em bettert than the industry n*ggas. Cant believe that shyt was 10 yrs tho, dont even feel like it
