That sh*t that makes your soul burn slow...

"First of all, Randy Moss is held in contempt," said former Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts cornerback Ray Buchanan, who played againstbothRice and Moss on multiple occasions during his 12-year career. "He has not at all obeyed protocol for wide receivers. And with all due respect to Randy Moss, I had to do a lot more film study to get ready for Jerry because I had to get ready for every route. He ran every route available, to perfection, and he ran them all the same, so it was almost impossible to stop. With Randy, I didn't even have to watch film, because it was all about the 'Go' route."

I see where Moss is coming from. He is definitely the most talented WR of all time. He came down with some of the most amazing catches in NFL history.

It's hard to take his numbers and accomplishments as serious as other players because the league was not as racially integrated as it is now. That has to be taken into consideration.

I could have dominated football back in those days if I were allowed to play on the same field as whites.

Dude was good at his TIME. HIS TIME which isn't saying alot compared to now
Even if the competition wasn't at the level then that it is today, we're still talking about one man who stood out and played well above the abilities of his contemporaries -- the same exact way we can say Jerry Rice and Randy Moss did in THEIR TIME, and the way Calvin Johnson does now. It's all relative.

I mean, c'mon, b -- the old NFL was a bunch of dudes with a hobby. It wasn't a billion-dollar, year-round industry with nutritionists, specified diets, or personal trainers. Most played games one day and went to their day jobs the next.
