people are forgetting the fact that lillard is like 3 years older than every player who was picked in the top 3

Davis/Beal/MKG were born in just 93, Lillard was born in 90 and played 3 more years of college than them, he suppose to make more of an impact coming into the league

look at all the best bigs in the nba and look at how they did as rookies

Kevin Love averaged 11 points and 9 rebounds as a rookie

Lopez averaged 13 and 8 as a rookie

Dwight put up 12 and 10 as a rookie

Al Jefferson averaged 7 points and 4 rebounds

Noah averaged 6 and 5 as a rookie

only bigs over the past decade who've really put up great stats as rookies are Gasol and Griffin

we never expected the progress we see now in noah and lopez

dwight was always suspect. i seen a few of his college games and even back then he exposed himself as just a one dimensional big man all he can do is dunk.

kevin love passed the eye test even with those low numbers

davis is just going to be a good role player/journey man

anybody who saw him play college ball knew he was a role player at kentucky. his role was pretty much get putbacks, rebound, and keep the other team from scoring in the paint. it was obvious from when he was in college that he wasn't the best prospect since bron, they just tried to say he was because of him being a good athlete with a big wingspan that you don't see too often.

but from what you saying you it seems like you expected him to be a decent offensive player, which he's far from and yeah you can be disappointed in that because he has no post game, not much of a shooter, and doesn't do much besides get garbage points on offense or fast breaks.

None of them were picked 1st overall in the draft as franchise changers. The ones who were like Griffin came out on all cyliners, and the other Howard averaged a double double.
