I like the ideaology of training part powerlifting/bodybuilding. That's how I train you get mass faster that way whether your bulking or not. I'll start at a weight I can only get 3 to 4 reps & keep doing it till i get to sets of 8. Then go up in weight again to where I can only do 4 reps & repeat. I know 8-12 reps is the hypertrophic rep range but anything over 10 reps is to light to me.

I dunno man... When you're Flat benching 120lb+ dumbbells at 5 sets of 8-12 or when you break 405 squat at those same rep numbers... I'd never say that's too light lol.

I mean I do the P.H.A.T. But on my hypertrophy days I'm MUCH more tired than on my heavy days because an 8-12 set is typically to failure

I mean I lift for fun... But I swear he's where I want to be. I'm glad I got to see this video... (I was feeling kind of sluggish today)

dude was a beast back in the day.....smh at the 4 big macs, fries, two milkshakes and 4 apple pies everyday for 20 years. god damn....no wonder he needed heart surgery. don't need all that to lift weights. too much bad food. i'm about to hit the gym in the morning. my legs are still sore from wed....can't stop and start this sh*t. gotta stay consistent....

That's true. Boggles me when laymens mention how some people can be obese and healthy like sumo wrestlers. I'm sure dudes saw CT and thought he was the healthiest fu*ker in the world.

I'm sipping down my pre-workout now at 2:15am. It's 27 degrees in my garage and I gotta go bring a portable heater out there with me when I train but progress is being made, gotta stay consistent and it's nights like this that I'll look back on in a few months when I feel like not training or skipping a day and it'll give me that kick in the a.ss I need to get it done.
