More importantly, the focus isn't the riots themselves.

The focus is the media coverage and how unbalanced it is when it comes to these sorts of events.

We shouldn't be talking about the riots at all, simply how the media portrays it and the national response.

But what's up with this trend of not posting the articles mayne? People who posted used to take the time to embed images, page breaks, articles, etc. Now it's just a link. Or a video if you're lucky.

This is similar to what they did to Trayvon and Mike Brown when the media tried to profile them as, "Thugs up to no good", and make Zimmerman and the Police seem like they were doing the right thing.

The media is forever against blacks as a whole, no matter what anyone says.

a riot is a riot bro. In this case at least the ppl in Ferguson had somewhat of a reason to riot or be upset. I dont even why these white ppl are rioting. Pumpkins?
no, a riot is not a riot

How many business did these white college thugs burn down, how many rioters were there? How many injuries? how many molotov c*cktails were thrown?

Did they occur in the same state? Is the same person at the head of both police departments,

In order to compare things, reactions etc.. The situations must be similar

Yal reachin like craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy to think these 2 situations are similar

Jus like you said... One was a riot over a perceived murder.. the other was over... who knows....maybe it was pumpkins

Now, if there was a riot at an HBCU over some pumpkins or a state fair etc and the media depicted them as they did in the Ferguson case then I would totally agree with every person in this thread.

A police department log shows officers responded to 235 calls between 2:30 a.m. Friday and 3:30 a.m. Sunday. One group of young people threatened to beat up an elderly man, and another resident heard someone "threatening to k!ll officers," according to the police log.

Son open ur eyes. These college students fought back with the police, destroyed property, there were plenty of arrest and people injured. So what the fk is the difference? U saying looting and burning business is different that just plain destroying property. Its the same damn thing if u ask me. Both r crimes. As it was stated already, if u are focusing on the actual riot then u clearly dont get the big picture

Chicago activists Paul McKinley, Mark Carter, Joseph Watkins and Harold “Noonie” Ward recently went on the record with to deliver a message to black communities across the country.

That message shed’s light on who they say are the “real oppressors” of their community.

Although these men are recognized as leaders among the local community, local mainstream media refuses to give them a platform.

McKinley explains that black americans are in an “abusive relationship with black leadership…There not pushing a black agenda, they’re not pushing a family agenda, they’re pushing a neo-liberal agenda.”

They always talk about black on black crime, and when you here the words black on black crime, the first thing you think of is a black man is a black man robbing you or breaking in your house, and that is a black on black crime. But lets take it one step further. There’s a black on black crime down in city hall, there’s a black on black crime down in all the state capitols in America, where all the black folks are voting against our interests.”
We’re always talking about what the Republican’s ain’t done for us, but my life has been hurt by democrats,” Watkins says, “this lot where I stand right now, Ida B. Wells, where public housing residents used to live at, most of the people are homeless living in the street, it’s because of you Mr. President."

They (black leaders) forced us into a life of welfare, we don’t want welfare,” Carter explains, “we want opportunities to go to work, we want opportunities to own businesses.”

Carter says the strategy behind the president’s focus on raising minimum wage is because, “he (the president) knows this is a way to get a lot of the poor peoples attention, but, to hell with your minimum raise wage, we don’t have any jobs, minimum wage raise for what?

Everywhere you go, there is poverty in black areas.” Ward says, “It’s the same way in every black community across the country….How can the same process happen over and over again, and can’t nobody do nothing about it?

Editorial Note: McKinley, Watson, Carter and Ward have all served time in prison in the past, and have since taken to the streets of Chicago to f!ght against the injustices in their community, making this story all the more interesting.

yeah, which is exactly why they wanna end that sh*t

also the dude in the video Paul McKinley won a GOP primary in Illinois...and they aren't happy
McKinley--who has been convicted of 6 felony counts and served nearly 20 years behind bars for armed robberies, aggravated battery, and burglaries--refers to himself as an "ex-offender" who wants to get other ex-offenders to work.

McKinley was also arrested 11 times from 2003 to 2007, mostly for protesting. Records show he also owes $14,147 in federal taxes.

There are dozens of districts where very few voters bother to participate in Republican primaries, setting the stage for ugly surprises. Remember entertainer "Spanky the Clown?" He won the GOP nomination to face Mayor Daley in 1995. That may have been good for a laugh. But those who dream of rebuilding the Republican Party in Chicago aren't laughing at the apparent nomination of convicted armed robber Paul McKinley.

"He's not a Republican, obviously, and he doesn't represent the Republican Party," says GOP activist Chris Robling.
This Rebel Pundit sh*t is just trying to be a black the blaze.
