The rapper was convicted of a parole violation on Tuesday, after he was filmed holding a rifle at a gun range during an interview with Pitchfork.TV. Handling firearms was a violation of his probation.
when are we gonna require "journalists" to know about the subject they are reporting or AT LEAST get it correct?
what is this, a game of telephone?
He was on PROBATION, not PAROLE. Parole is not something you're just sentenced to. Keef was never in prison so he cannot be on parole
He was on probation.
Now my problem is that WHO decided to confuse probation and parole. The person who originally got the information had to have gotten it from someone close to the case therefore HOW did this person get PROBATION confused with PAROLE????
As someone who works in the legal field, me and the ppl at my firm get so annoyed when people screw terms up in the legal field. How hard is it to learn/know the difference between jail and prison, a.ssault and battery, parole and probation, etc etc ????
