Dawsey, Miller and Graham are all possibilities. Don't be surprised if Kelly gets looks too with all the DC positions opened.

Mike London from UVA and Locksley from Maryland are all possibilities to be added to the staff. And this might sound crazy but if Graham is gone James Coley could be back as a RB coach.

Jimbo is going to lobby FSU for more cash for his a.ssistants so I don't expect Brewster or Lawing to go anywhere because FSU will price match or even overpay for them

no way in hell they give kelly the boot. he kicked a.ss this year!

interesting about coley though...

"I think the third weekend of January," Johnson told Noles247.com.

He is ranked by the 247Sports.com Composite as the No. 40 prospect in the nation and No. 1 center.

VIP Scoop: Pair of coaches visiting 5-star today

Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy five-star defensive tackle Shavar Manuel is expected to get a visit today from Florida State a.ssistant coach Lawrence Dawsey and defensive ends coach Brad Lawing today.

The visit will likely take place at his school. FSU has been in talks with him in recent weeks to come in on an official visit in January. Those plans will likely be discussed today and a visit date may be set. Noles247 will have the details later today.

A source close to Manuel tells Noles247 that Manuel is leaning toward Florida, but wants to take a visit to FSU and UF before making his final decision. LSU was the leader not too long ago, they now seem to be a distant third to the instate teams.

Manuel is the No.5 ranked DT in the country and the 13th best player overall, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Fisher on growth of 2015 squad, promise of 2016

Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher appeared on The Playbook on Sirius/XM College Sports Nation on Thursday. He spoke with host Jack Arute about reflecting on the regular season.

Arute asked if Fisher was pleased with the 10-win season and he explained he was, but then he dived into why the conclusion of the season -- where FSU went 3-1 over their final four games with a narrow loss to No. 1 Clemson and convincing defeats of N.C. State, Chattanooga, and in-state rivals Florida -- pleased him.

"To me, at the end of the day, class and character," Fisher said.

Fisher was specifically referencing how his team performed after the ACC Championship and College Football Playoff appearance were out of reach.

"We are talking about a legacy for the seniors. We are talking about the future of the program," Fisher said in stating what was left to play for. "Those kids bought in to all that. I think we got better the last four games of the season, I mean drastically better. I really do with how we practiced, how we approached things. I think it is laying a great groundwork for finishing the season and hopefully going into the offseason with a great mindset and work ethic.

"It is not what I wanted, but at the same time we won our state championship, we were able to defeat our two arch-rivals, which is always very important. To have 10 wins. To get better after some adversity, and let these kids mature and show their class, I am very excited about that."

Fisher also spoke on why he is excited about the 2016 version of the Seminoles.

"The hunger," Fisher said. "They think they were working, but know there is another level to how you practice. It isn't about practicing hard, it is about practicing efficient. It is not doing it until you do it right, it is doing it until you can't do it wrong. It is a different mentality. It is an educational process all the way through.

"I could just see it coming and coming," Fisher added about his 2015 Seminoles. "We had a couple setbacks. It was unfortunate. Just as well we could be sitting here undefeated. We had a chance to win both of those football games. But would we be who we are?

"I don't live in a 'what if' world," Fisher continued. "Sometimes you have to go through that to become who you can become."

With just one game against an unknown opponent and in an unknown destination remaining, Fisher hopes that the positives of the past month carry into the spring in preparation for 2016.

"Now, can we take that and finish with an exclamation point and then transition in the offseason and not worry about expectations," Fisher said. "Everything is patting you on the back all offseason saying, 'Boy you guys are going to be good next year. You are going to be good if you prepare to be good, you practice to be good and you play to be good.' "

Never said he was getting the boot. Said he might leave with all the DC positions open. With UGA, Bama, Michigan and probably Auburn open Kelly will get looked at and will get offers. He's one of the few Saban disciplines that are left out there and with how the defense looked this year he'll be a hot commodity

VIP Scoop: Trickett wrapping up in-home with OT

Florida State offensive line coach Rick Trickett is wrapping up an in-home visit with Washington (D.C.) Archbishop Carroll four-star offensive tackle Jauan Williams on Thursday evening.

Williams is scheduled to officially visit FSU on Dec. 11th.

FSU made a major move with Williams during a July camp visit. He emerged as a top offensive tackle target along with fellow four-star offensive tackle Landon d!ckerson at that time.

FSU is competing with Alabama, Florida, Maryland and more for Williams. The Crimson Tide lead his 247Sports.com Crystal Ball with 50-percent of predictions.

Williams is ranked No. 150 overall and as the No. 15 offensive tackle in the 247Sports.com Composite.

If he were to come back, it would be Miller that would be leaving the staff and the would def be moving Pruitt back to DB coach. But, I see him going back to Bama or maybe even Miami with Richt with the staff changes at both places.

Pruitt's not coming back here. He'll end up at either Bama, Michigan, South Carolina or Auburn. He and Richt bumped heads way too often for him to end up at Miami.

Landon d!ckerson Intel

Offensive tackle Landon d!ckerson (Hudson, N.C./South Caldwell) said right now three programs are sticking out to him: Florida State, Tennessee and Auburn.

He's officially visited Florida State and Auburn.

He unofficially visited Tennessee on back-to-back weekends in November.

d!ckerson said Georgia and Alabama could get official visits on January 16 and 23, respectively.

Or he said he may take his parents to Florida State January 16 for an unofficial visit.

Tennessee could get an official visit as well.

d!ckerson's grandfather played at Virginia Tech, the early leader in his recruitment.

It appears the Hokies are fading.

"I talked to coach (Justin) Fuente this week and they are coming down next week so we'll see how it goes," d!ckerson said.

d!ckerson said he had concerns about Jimbo Fisher potentially moving to LSU but those were answered last week.

He's also keeping an eye on the coaching situations among his other top schools including Auburn.

He did say he likes the future promise at Tennessee.

d!ckerson plans to make his college choice following his official visits.

The Crystal Ball reads 75-percent for Virginia Tech, 12-percent for Florida State and 12-percent for Auburn.

The four-star recruit is ranked as the nation's No. 7 offensive tackle and the No. 2 prospect in North Carolina in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.
