on KB sayin Craig was callin our calls

Originally posted by Fant:

I recorded the game, and I heard it on the network broadcast replay - not doctored. KB told Jimbo after the first possession of the 3rd quarter. What was the impact???

Entering the game we led the nation at 7.81 yards per play.

1st Possession
was partially scripted and Craig wouldn't have been in sync with the
signals and communicating to the defense at this point. 9 plays for 59
yards (6.55 per play)

Next 6 Possessions 28 plays for 94 yards (3.35 per play)
Remove
the fake punt and the 21 yard broken play scramble and it's 2.53 yards
per play - by a defense ranked lower than 8 other teams we played during
the season.

Last 5 Possessions were 30 plays
for 229 yards (7.63 per play). The last play was a 2 yard TD, so prior
to that we were 29 plays for 227 yards (7.82 per play) - same as we
averaged all year long.
56 yard TD drive in 2:08
80 yard TD drive in 0:58

There is the statistical evidence that pivots from bad to good right after Benjamin tells Jimbo that the calls are being stolen.

i guess we still love takin these 3 star nobodies early on even after winning it all

i love lowndes but gerald demps happened too so im not doin jumpin jacks over here about bell and especially not for the lineman we beat out marshal for its crap like this that makes us lose out on ragnow and almost derrick kelly in exchange for frith and eberle. sorry but i get kinda pissed since it makes way more sense to take the top guys early, and make these 3 stars wait (unless its a rick leonard type). now watch me look stupid when eberle and frith pull a terrance brooks and ball outta control makin me beg for forgiveness. brooks has forever got me in check for that one

now this cedric wood kid? yea that looks like a good pick up for real. guy is huge already and only a sophmore!

Courtesy of TomahawkNation:

Per a report from Pete Roussel, Florida State will hire Bill Miller, of Minnesota, as its linebackers coach. As you can see from his bio below, he coached at UF from '03-04, and Miami from '95-98.

School bio:

Bill Miller, who is in his second stint on the University of Minnesota coaching staff, adds 36 years of collegiate coaching experience to the Gopher staff. The well-respected Miller holds the title of a.ssistant head coach and is also responsible for coaching the linebackers.

Miller helped shape a defense in 2013 that allowed only 289 points, which was the first time that Minnesota allowed less than 300 points since 2004.

Miller had to replace two starters at linebacker in 2013 and did an adiramble job with his corps. Junior college transfer Damien Wilson was second on the team with 78 tackles, while Aaron Hill finished third with 64. James Manuel was sixth on the team with 54 tackles. Miller's linebackers also made big plays in 2013, as Hill scored two touchdowns and Manuel scored one.

Miller has worked with virtually a who's who in the college football coaching world. In addition to working with coach Jerry k!ll, Miller served on staffs under Nick Saban, Jimmy Johnson, Ron Zook, Dirk Koetter, Chuck Shelton, Pat Jones, College Football Hall of Fame member Chris Ault and the late Bud Elliott.

He was a semifinalst for the Broyles Award, which is presented annually to college football's a.ssistant Coach of the Year, while at Michigan State (2000) and Florida (2003). Miller has been on staff with five teams that have won conference championships and has coached in 11 bowl games.

Prior to joining the Gophers, Miller most recently coached the linebackers and served as the co-defensive coordinator for Kansas in 2009.

Miller's previous experience at Minnesota was from 1986-88, when he served as the Gophers' defensive backs coach on John Gutekunst's staff. He helped lead Minnesota to a 20-17 win at Michigan as the Gophers handed the previously unbeaten and second-ranked Wolverines their first loss of the season. The win helped Minnesota qualify for the 1986 Liberty Bowl where they played Tennessee.

Miller coached the linebackers at Louisville in 2008 and had been promoted to defensive coordinator before accepting the aforementioned position at Kansas. Miller was the defensive coordinator at Western Michigan in 2007.

He was the defensive coordinator at Arizona State from 2005-06 on coach Koetter's staff and quickly turned around the Sun Devil defense. In one year, he took the Arizona State defense from last in the Pac-10 to second (behind USC) in total defense.

In 2003-04, Miller was the a.ssociate head coach and linebackers coach at Florida. He spent 1999-2002 at Michigan State as the Spartans' defensive coordinator on coach Saban's staff. While in East Lansing, Miller's defense finished first in the Big Ten in total defense and the Spartans beat Florida in the 2000 Citrus Bowl.

From 1995-98, he ran the defense for Miami (Fla.) and won two Big East championships as a member of coach Butch Davis' staff. From 1989-94, Miller was the defensive coordinator at Oklahoma State.

He coordinated the defense at Nevada from 1983-85. His defense led the Big Sky in total defense twice as the Wolf Pack won two Big Sky championships during his tenure.

His first full-time job in collegiate coaching was in 1981, when he coached the secondary at Drake for two seasons. Miller got his start in coaching as a graduate a.ssistant at Texas-Arlington in 1978 on coach Elliott's staff. He followed that with a stint as a graduate a.ssistant for two seasons (1979-80) at Oklahoma State under coach Johnson.

Miller, who also coached in the 1991 Blue-Gray Football Classic, is a graduate of Hutchinson (Kan.) High School. He played two years at Hutchinson Junior College in 1974-75 and then finished his collegiate career playing safety at Texas-Arlington in 1976-77.

Miller, who earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Texas-Arlington in 1978, and his wife Lisa have two grown children, Cole and Jackson. Cole recently received his degree in economics and international relations from Michigan State, while Jackson is a student at Michigan State.

Tyler Hunter and Scooter Haggins fully participating.

Kevin Haplea is working out with a knee brace.
Nigel Terrell and Giorgio Newberry working with the tight ends.

Not exactly going stepping out on a limb here, but Dalvin Cook looks like he belongs.

Isaiah Jones a tad bit thicker.

Matthew Thomas is the biggest physical transformation I have noticed.

Jeremy Kerr still with tight ends.

Fisher speaking now. He praised their conditioning. Said the team is focused.
Fisher said it has been very good, business-like.

Fisher expects vast majority team to be available in spring. Very healthy.

Standouts per Fisher: Josue Matias, Nick O'Leary, Desmond Hollin, Terrance Smith, P.J. Williams, Karlos Williams, Mario Pender, Ryan Green. Some more about being vocal leaders.

Kain Daub not eligible to be here due to clearinghouse issue. Won't be around to participate in spring. Good to go for fall.

Kareem Are down 15 pounds since arrival per Fisher.

'Cook can flat fly.' -Fisher

Fisher heaping a lot of praise on Pender.

Fisher said Bill Miller is a great addition to staff.

Ira Denson 'just going to school right now'. He was not present. Fisher said they will reevaluate his situation.

Fisher said Desmond Hollin has had strong two months since season ended.

Fisher said Scooter Haggins back to being healthy. Running real well.

A Madison man was arrested on Thursday in on a charge of attempted murder stemming from an argument at the Seminole Ridge Apartments that involved two Florida State University football players.

Tarron Addison, 20, of Madison, was arrested Thursday on a charge of attempted murder in connection with the shooting of Tim Pruitt on Dec. 22, according to court documents.

Police were called to the Seminole Ridge Apartments at 1375 Pullen Road at 5:43 p.m. in response to gunshots. Pruitt had already been rushed to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare with a gunshot wound to the head. According to court documents, a bullet entered his left ear and got lodged behind his left eye.

Witness Delmarick "Mario" Pender told Tallahassee police officers that a man named Ira Denson had used his missing debit card to make purchases two days before. On Dec. 22, Pender said he went to Denson's apartment to confront him about the theft. Denson was not there, so Pender took a pair of Denson's shoes as "collateral," he told police. Denson and Pender are both members of the Florida State University football team.

Pender then called Denson, who was at home in Madison, demanding his money. Denson said he would come to Tallahassee to repay him and recover his shoes, according to court documents.

On Dec. 22, at 5:32 p.m., Pender got a text from Denson saying he'd be stopping by Pender's apartment soon with the money. When Denson arrived, Pruitt, Pender's half brother, went down to meet Denson and another man in a white PT Cruiser to exchange the money and shoes. Pender said Denson was in the passenger seat. The other man, who Pender could not identify, was standing outside the car, according to court documents.

Pender said he heard Pruitt verbally chastise Denson for taking his brother's money. Pruitt placed the shoes in the car's trunk and as the car backed out to leave, Pender said he saw the driver point a chrome revolver out of the driver's side window and shoot three to four times in the direction of Pruitt and Pender. Pender said Pruitt started holding his head and saying he had been shot, according to court documents.

Denson and Pender are both members of the Florida State football team, but neither has played in a game yet for the Seminoles.

Pender, who was one of the nation’s top running backs as a senior at Cape Coral’s Island Coast High, was redshirted as a freshman in 2012. He was ruled academically ineligible in 2013 but has returned to the team and is expected to compete for playing time this spring.

Denson signed with FSU in 2013 and was redshirted as a freshman. The Madison County native was one of the nation’s top 10 offensive guard prospects, according to some recruiting services.

Neither player traveled with the FSU football team to Pasadena, Calif., for the BCS national championship game.

On Thursday, FSU coach Jimbo Fisher praised Pender for his work in the classroom and improving maturity. He also said that Denson was not with the team and that his future with the program would be decided at a later date.

Addison is currently in Leon County Jail.

is this in addition to the rumors of him stealing Thomas' locker room items? or is this the only thing Denson was a part of?
