exactly, if black people are in a movie, it has to be about something

but according to these nutjobs

black k!lls white = bad, they are masking racism

white k!lls black = bad, they are promoting white supremacy

all black cast = bad, they are patronizing blacks

all white cast = bad, where are the blacks?

diverse cast = bad, they are pretending racism doesnt exist

at this point, if everything about society is that bad, just commit suicide, whats the point of living if everything in life, good of bad disgusts

n*ggas always find a reason to complain, just enjoy some goddamn entertainment for once in your life

honestly though, the real thing is that most of these dudes are just trying to show out on the internet, half the n*ggas talking sh*t, are going to watch it anyway and enjoy it. dudes always complain about racism but dont want to let sh*t go, so that come on the internet to vent
Yes but I think Spikes personal preference has somehow evolved into the preference of black people.........and its just one man's opinion. I don't black people are catching feelings about this movie.....in all reality.........I however took offense at the backlash he received because of his comments.........like its some ignorant muthafu*kas on this board......

im not trashing Spike, although, talking sh*t about something you havent seen, i dont cosign (just like how he tweeted that old couples address without checking his sources, i see a pattern with how he judges situations)

anyway hes entitled to his opinion, but i hate how people go into d!ckride mode and dont think for themselves, this movie has been gettin buzz and people have BEEN known what it was about, so where was all the "outrage" on BX before Spike said sh*t?

n*ggas just wanna ride the outrage bandwagon and then proceed to attack people who want to see the movie or who like QT

I love my people but some of you mothafu*kas are just dumb a.ss fu*k. But when you have generations upon generations of slaves raising slaves then you have no knowledge of self. That white man is GOD to you all. And I don't hate white people but damn yall don't even try to hide the fact that you think this man is more superior then your own existence.

Before I even heard Spike open his mouth about the movie I didn't have a good feeling about this movie based on the previews and ads.

"Django off the chain!!!!" I'm thinking to myself ok White Boy coming up with a phrase like this?? I don't like sensationalized historical movies esp. about my ancestors. If you don't like it choke on a roach d!ck I could really give a fu*k how you feel about it. Go back to sucking QT d!ck, spend ur money and shut the fu*k up n let people have a brain and opinion of their own.

That's my main problem w/ this film is it comes off exploiting slavery and putting some "cool" twist to it by k!lling white people. I remember when QT was talking about doing this movie some years ago around the time of Inglorious Bastard and I thought to myself then "BAD IDEA"

If he would have done it in a fashion like the movie "GOODBYE UNCLE TOM" which didn't come off as much sensationalized but more so like raw hard truth about slavery I would go see the movie.
having such a strong opinion and not having seen the movie, is ludicrous

Like you have never put down a movie and vowed to never see it based on what the preview for the movie looks like. I think because people feel like its Spike Lee it makes this more special. If he said it looked like a interesting movie and he would be seeing it......then he could hit with the "pro black, anti white proud to support a movie where the black man is the hero shooting racist white" angle or in this case he is not going to see it and he is hit with " WTF does he think his black a.ss is, he is a sh*tty director who should be grateful that QT has even allowed him rights to talk about the movie" angle.........if this was John Travolta who made this statement nobody would care...........its like white America pays so much attention to what every other race of people is doing in this country......but they don't pay enough attention to themselves as a whole......our fu*k ups are intentional and detrimental, while their fu*k ups are co-incidental and completely oblivious to the main scale of things....which is what this whole thread basically boils down to.........

And Im completely aware while typing this that that statement could also apply to black Americans........I just don't honestly feel that black Americans have a vendetta against white America.......at least not in the same sense that white America has shown to blacks, Latinos, Native Americans and Jews

Did you have the same thoughts about Inglorious Bastards? I mean Jews k!lling Germans in Nazi Germany during the Holocaust sounds awfully familiar to a black man k!lling slave-owners during slavery.

Or was that ok because it wasn't about our ancestors?

I know the plantation my people were slaves on, I can visit it today if I want to, and I have no issue with this movie at all. Judge me all you want but I take it at face value, it's just a movie.

I also understand that white people all over the country call us n*ggas and ******s when we're not around so when QT puts it in his movies, I just take it as another realistic view of life.

Not trying to detach anything, anyone who can't see that the struggle today isn't connected to slavery is an idiot (which is why people saying blacks should get over slavery is stupid).

But the struggle now isn't comparable to what it was then, so don't even try to act like it is. And you putting what you go through in the same sentence as what they had to go through is flat out disrespectful.
I respectfully disagree on many level the struggle has gotten even more difficult not physically but mentally ...I would elaborate but if you don't know you don't need too

they wouldnt, they are only jumping on the bandwagon, if Spike Lee didnt say sh*t, they would go on as normal and even have given a second thought to the fu*kin movie, and like i said, half these n*ggas gonna watch it regardless

the funny thing is n*ggas who trashing QT without having seen the movie, on the auspices of black empowerment, will defend sh*t like Chief Keef and the ignorance he promotes in the black community to the death

fu*kin hypocrites
negative it's plenty on black ppl that feel the same way Spike does. But yeah, parrots.
White ppl just need to stfu about black issues anyway and talk about mass shootings, meth addiction, modern day slave masters, and ****** hunters. Now QT should make a movie about that.

yea there are plenty of black people who think the way spike lee, but know for a fact:

1. not all blacks agree or "have" to agree with him

2. alot of blacks (and bx people in general) in this thread are parrots

3. and im not white, and the fact that you a.ssumed that, shows how general your thinking is

and you up here a.ssuming sh*t based off of interviews

secondly why is the burden on QT to make the movie YOU personally want to watch?

so basically because you personally like QT, hes racist.

i know you didnt say that verbatim, but thats how it comes off.

and like i said, i dont care how many QT you claim to have seen, if you havent seen THIS movie, then you strong opinion on THIS movie is void.
