the point still stands tho joking aside
Durant not really a model either. He hardly hits the weight room.

But it's funny how you compare guys in their mid 20's to Kobe when it comes to fitness. That should tell you something.

It's not his first time calling out Pau, he did it against the Thunder in the playoffs, but he has that right, bc if it wasnt for Kobe, Pau would been traded by now!! And Pau is playing like crap!! And i'm a Laker fan!
if wasnt for all the other owners in the nba on would be on the houston rockets

KD is in amazing shape, you don't gotta be muscular to be in great shape, some people can bench press mountains and some people can run up and down all day without getting tired. We can talk about older guys, duncan is still performing great at his age, ray allen is in shape and always has been.

sh*t plenty of older guys keep themselves in spectacular shape. ray allen and rip hamiliton can both probably finish a marathon. remember when kevin wills was like 40 and the n*gga still looked like a bodybuilder?

Rondo, Rose, Westbrook, Durant, Raymond Felton, Rudy, Iggy, and plenty others have always seemed to keep themselves in very good shape as well. Kobe literally just said he shed 15 extra pounds he was carrying during the olympics, y'all gotta stop spreading these myths man
he wasn't out of shape. he wanted to be lighter so he could take some of the load off his knees. you're acting like people only shed weight when they are out of shape

yea but which old heads play at Kobe's level? Kevin Willis, ray Allen? c'mon man.

17th year in the league and still schooling all y'all favorite players.

no wonder y'all hate the guy so much.

and in my understanding, guy who made up this thread is a heat fan.

stay in your lane, it doesn't look good when you hate on somebody and try to degrade other people. Kobe's worst day prolly looks a hell of a lot better than your best.

I still wouldn't consider KD to be in amazing shape. You don't have to be bulky but he doesn't have any muscle definition. His strength is the only thing stopping him from being unstoppable.

Duncan and Ray are good examples though. Never heard of these guys reporting to camp overweight.

What's funny is that Duncan shed about 20 pounds last year and he uses him as an example of an older guy in great shape.

Thats what leaders do, and why he has 5 championships. Outside of LeBron nobody keeps their body in better condition in the NBA than Kobe Bryant. He expects that same professionalism from his teammates, as we all know Jordan demanded the same from his teammates. I wouldn't be surprised if LeBron developed the same trait, and calls out his teammates toward the later part of his career when he's 34+ and father time is knocking at your back door.

Kobe is right. Pau needs to resurrect that urgency and intensity on the court that he had when he helped us get them first two titles. People like to call Kobe a selfish player, which too an extent he pretty much is, but if you show that you can command the rock and dominate on offense Kobe will find you. Pau can pretty much do it all at his position but lately he's been shying away from the ball and just going through the motions on offense. He needs to demand the ball and do work like people know he is capable of.
