UCLA won't tank that game. What will be weird is if Stanford wins next Saturday, UCLA and Stanford will play eachother twice in a week.
it'll be stupid, oregon better win to avoid that even w/ a Stanford loss

I've ALWAYS hated them. Of course I wanted OU to win them all but I didn't like them. The way the Pac-12 has them w/ home field advantage is even worse.

UCLA wouldn't have a chance against Oregon we all know this I rather lose to Stanford n play them again for all the marbles. I herre what yall saying but it would be dumb for them to get embarrassed by the Ducks than barely losing or winning against Stanford. Stanford is a better match up for Oregon and the proves it tonight. UCLA can't stop Oregon from scoring. I wish it was someway my Tigers could get the championship game but we will be there next year

My reason for asking was because if UCLA beats Stanford then they have to travel to Oregon's home field for a conference championship game. If they lose to Stanford then they have to travel to Stanford for a championship game. Either way they have to hit the road and the question then becomes at which stadium do you feel most comfortable against the home team?

UCLA has a shaky defense and can't survive a shootout with Oregon at Autzen. Stanford plays a more methodical style suited for them and doesn't have a great home crowd/atmosphere like Oregon does.

Isn't it in UCLA's best interest to lose and avoid the monster that is Oregon at Autzen, especially when you don't have the defense to contain them like Stanford did.

I really think Mora Jr. has that team buying that they can beat anyone. Also, not sure if they're ranked high enough to blow a game and then expect to win CCG and make it to the Rose Bowl.

I thought as long as they win the conference championship game they get the bid to the Rose Bowl and only teams in the BCS like say Oregon, if they were to win the CCG, could refuse the bid.

UCLA is 17th in the BCS right now, there's now way they get high enough to be in the BCS at large pool. They have to be playing just for the Rose Bowl bid.

If you win CCG, you still have to be in top 14.

2. The champions of the Atlantic Coast, Big East, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12, and Southeastern conferences will have automatic berths in one of the participating bowls through the 2013 regular season.
From the BCS site. I think what I got from it is that winning the CCG guarantees them a BCS bowl but it doesnt guarantee them the Rose Bowl but the Rose will be highly influenced to take the Pac 12 champion. The ranking wont come into play I don't believe.

Felt good watching all the Oregon fans cry in the stands after the loss. This is all this state has to look forward to, and when they lose the whole state falls apart for a week. You cant hope for the Failblazers to rise your spirits here.

Hmm... I thought you had to be in top 14 to be in a BCS game, but maybe they're just a.ssuming they would be when they wrote that?

To be in a BCS game? No. Remember when we played unranked Uconn in the Fiesta. Uconn was 8-4.
