I called out all the "Lions fans" who were talking mad sh*t in the offseason because we didn't prove anything. Look at us now. We can't beat the Vikings, not even one time? Our schedule is ridiculous the rest of the year. We aren't ready for another playoff run. Time to put the coaching staff on the hot seat. We need a respectable d coordinator. Gunther got too comfortable.
yea, I'm not a sh*t talker (at least not til AFTER we actually do something) so I can't speak on what every other Lions fan said or did, but I agree with this.
I didn't feel I had the right to talk sh*t because I didn't feel we actually got any better in the offseason. We didn't get better in the secondary, we drafted a OL who barely plays, and I am STILL not sold on Matthew Stafford. I know it sounds crazy, but he is terribly inconsistent and that "oh its the 4th quarter, let me start playing now" sh*t is not cool wit me. It may be great for tv and ratings, but its not a reliable strategy whatsoever.
I say give the coaches another year to get it together because we need that continuity with such a young roster, but if they can't make the playoffs next year after all this time under schwartz, I say its time to go ahead and clean house, coach-wise. There is just too much damn talent on this team to be 4-5.
