so these people were born with money and didnt work for it they just woke up one day and put the money they had in a shoe box into the stock market and became rich?

Nobody is saying these people don't work. They don't get a paycheck so they're not affected by payroll taxes. So when you cut the capital gain tax and raise the payroll tax, you're raising taxes on all those who receive a paycheck, the majority of people, to cut taxes for a very small few.

Taxing the many to help the few is the logic of the GOP. They say it creates jobs that will help all but that's just not true. It just keep the status quo. It makes the poor poorer and the rich richer. That's why the income gap increases

Here comes the fisical cliff...the tax increases facing us on the horizon will send us into another recession. Unemployment will rise, GDP will go down, cuts in Medicare will incur as well as cuts on our military and various other programs. We will probably reach a national debt of 20 trillion by 2016. Now that Obama no longer has to worry about re-election, he will be even more dangerous than ever before. sh*t will get very real.

Congrats for Obama getting his second term, will give him props on that....but I just find quite disgusting that you have people on boxden, facebook, twitter, and outside of that on this man's d!ck..praising this man as if he's a God, crying and sh*t. I mean there's nothing wrong with celebrating, good to see the people together, but when you're sucking him off and praising him like he's God, then there's something wrong with you...

I never argue with fools...
skewd number, blacks only make up a small portion of the U.S. population. 22% about 20% of the nation is actually pretty staggering compared to 36% of about 70% of the nation for white people.

If you're black and you're on food stamps....it's expected, not staggering.
If you're white and you're on food stamps....you're viewed as a failure.

White's have been getting help from the government since the 1920's. Ask the FHA. Research "the new deal" and "the creation of the middle class". Benefits blacks were barred from. They SHOULD perform better than blacks in all statistical categories. Blacks have been getting help since the mid to late 60's....see Civil Rights.

The voting landscape is changed forever. 6 years ago nobody knew who Obama was. If the Dems come with another strong Black or Latino candidate, what are Repubs gonna do? Clinton performed very good with African Americans, so what's the Repubs exsuse? Even bill 'o admitted the old white regime is done. My question is, what are voters gonna do when the repubs "sell out" and start putting fourth ethnic and even....homo candidates? I wanna know if the other side is still voting for "the issues" and not "the person" as they claim.

More whites are welfare recipients than blacks and hispanics.

Well, everybody knew that. It's just that people choose to ignore it.
ignore this:

- 29 million people are on welfare
- 39% white: 11,661,000
- 38% black: 11,362,000

- US population: 313,544,041
- White: 72.4%: 227,005,885
- Black: 12.6%: 39,506,549

Whites: 11,661,000 / 227,005,885 = 5.13%
Blacks: 11,362,000 / 39,506,549 = 28.75%

this means 5% of all whites are on welfare as opposed to almost 29% of all blacks.

Your conclusion is correct, a bigger percentage of the black population is on welfare, but your numbers are wrong. For one, the number you use for whites include people of Hispanic heritage. Non Hispanic white population is about 63.4%. I think bon hispanic blacks make up about 12.2%. And according to the post above, the percentage is 36% whites and 22% blacks.

None of that matter if people are not willing to discuss the reason so many minorities are on welfare. No, the theory that minorities are lazy and only white people work hard is not valid. It's because of the policies of the past. Wealth is passed down from generation to generation. Sure, you have some rag to riches stories but the exception is not the norm. If your parents went to college, you are more likely to go to college. If your parents owned business, you're more likely to own businesses.

Logic would tell you that you can't expect a group to completely catch up in 40 years when the other group had a 200+ years head start.
