I don't understand this. Do other teams/cities have this issue? I'm used to having every game available as long as you had FSW and Kcal. Is this standard?
Yeah C, basically it's only if you live in SoCal. Time Warner owns the rights to all the Laker games not televised nationally. So if you don't have Time Warner and most recently Charter and AT&T U-verse you can't watch the games, even if you get the League Pass because it blacks out your local game, figuring you have access to the local channel.
It's fu*ked up bcuz I have Direct TV for the Sunday Ticket, and I live out here and can't watch the games but everyone else can. Apparently they're working on a deal but Direct TV is the last to negotiate because they feel they can hold out for a better deal. Right now it'd be an extra 3.95/mo which is nothing but I guess we'll have to depend on streams in the meantime.
