I've seen people behind on their payments for nearly a year before they got evicted. If you aren't financially stable you should just stick to renting and getting your credit score up to get a lower interest rate so you can get it paid off.
I agree with this.
People act like the banks was forcing people to buy houses they couldn't afford. People knew that they were in no position to buy those properties.
All the banks did was approve it. The bank isn't your parents. They don't make life choices for you. People made bad choices and paid the price.
Then when it's time for people to take accountability, they wanna blame the banks. NO. You should have kept renting if you knew that there was a possibility of getting in over your head.
