I'm not listening to this song till the 22nd but After hearing art of peer pressure i know this cd aint gonna live up to yall (and even my own) expectations. Not when he had a song of almost the same subject matter in average joe sh*t on it.
I think O.D was his prime, and thats not saying much considering that Section 80 was banging, but when it comes down to telling his life story, O.D seems like he already covered alot of substance from it.
i think people just put this album on a pedal stool, like they do every artist about to drop there first real album, then they read a bunch of other people hating on it and dont give it a fair shake.
i dont care if the world thinks its a classic, and i probably wont think its a classic, unless im listening to it 5 years from now, but i have a feeling im gonna enjoy this album a lot more then the rest of the music being put out latley.
i just cant stand the twitter world mentality, you know people get 30s into a song and then tweet they hate it or love it, even listening to it 10 times when it drops doesnt do a song justice, we are to quick to be the first person with a comment, post, hot topic, status, whatever, just to look cool instead of giving it a real chance.
thats my 2 cents rant, while waiting to cop this album
