Best sgs of all time in their best year
93 Jordan
03 Tmac
03 Kobe
01 AI
08 Wade
Them old 70s dudes<<<
lol...stop it guys.

McGrady's best year was 03 when he averaged 32.1 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 5.5 APG, and 1.6 SPG in the season.

Now Iverson? Many call 2001 his best year because he won MVP and made it to the finals and single handily robbed my Lakers from a perfect play-off record. He averaged 31.1 PPG, 4.6 APG and 3.6 RPG, with 2.5 SPG in the regular season.

Though, as a team it was the 76ers best year, Iverson continued doing this and even elevated his play in the upcoming years. While McGrady had one year over 30 PPG in his whole career, Iverson has 4. And doing it consistently throughout his career as well, doing it in 01, 02, 05, and 06. His career high for a season in PPG is actually in 06 when he averaged 33 PPG. McGrady averaged under 25 PPG that year.

Not to mention Iverson is #6 on the all-time PPG list...ahead of Kobe while McGrady is nowhere to be found.

Not to mention Iverson is #2 of the all-time playoff PPg list...directly behind Jordan while McGrady never made it past the second round.

and McGrady's better right?

If you know what year T-Mac came into the league, Why would he mention a younger dude (Bron is 5 or 6 years younger) on learning the game or inspiring him?

Doesn't matter, neither Iverson nor Mcgrady should ever be mentioned in the same sentence with Bryant, sadly it's all what could of been's for those two.

McGrady could out play Iverson any night and was able to rebound and create plays for his teammates.
T-mac was a better shooter also. Better on defense and could switch on to D up anyone in the clutch.
Iverson was raw on offense but it Larry Browns/Dikembes Defense that brought them to the Finals.
Ivo was chucking more shots then Kobe back then, T-mac getting injuries and passing to Yao from 04+
Best SG's of all time goes
Jordan
Tmac/Kobe
Ivo/Wade
Carter/Allen

1. Jordan
2. Kobe

(then it's a big dropoff)

3. Wade/West/Iverson (all these guys are competing for that 3rd spot)

But T-Mac tho .... Let's not overrate him since he's retired

And don't even get me started on that lazy a.ss bum Vince Carter
