5'9" 180

Got down to 155 last spring and I've been trying to add muscle mass since. would like to hit 200 by the New year and then cut.

I only eat 1800-2000 calories a day but I'm around 180-200 grams of protein. Lot of egg whites, Greek yogurt, chicken and whey.

Currently...
15.5" biceps
34" waist
41" chest

I still have a bit of work to do in the pectoral department, and my abs are strong but covered in about .5" of fat.

Good luck to you skinny guys. I'm really stocky, so I gain weight easy in my thighs/belly/chest. And its hard af to burn it off.

I plan to hover around here for the winter months. However, I'm not far off from my 405 squat and 300 bench, so If I gotta put on an extra 5-10 lbs. to get there, then that's what I'm going to do... then it's cut time.

Edit: sorry not trying to be negative or anything, but seriously some of you need to see a doctor to make sure everything is alright with you. You might have some sort of thyroid or hormonal problem.

Just dirty bulk and worry about cutting after. It should be pretty easy for you if you have that hard of a time putting on weight.

Need some advice from bulking experts...


Ok boxed for 10 years but never really lifted because i felt it slowed me down...anyway had a kid and got a hernia shortly after but been thinking of getting surgery so i can finally return to the gym. I have a little stomachs now...not Much but I used to be skinny and cut now I'm softer...so if i was looking to lift and gain muscle what's the best way? Should I bulk and just gain weight and lift then do the cardio to get cut up (seems like this would be the right approach but when bulking would seem stomach would get big and that's the hardest thing to lose)

Or should I get in shape to Lose the softness, bulk, then cut?

6'3 165, was at 180 in April then construction season started and lost the 15 pounds i bulked

yall gotta eat man! i dirty bulked for 2 months and gained 15 pounds (+5 from creatine), i cant have sugar either so itll be way easier for yall, get frozen foods!!!! them sh*ts is packed with calories, granted it wont be the healthiest stuff but if ur an extreme hard gainer like me u gotta suck it up until u get off ur bulk and u can start eating the healthy sh*t

i aint no expert just showing yall what worked for me after years of trying, this might be a heart attack for some you but i was gaining 2 pounds a week

breakfast
4 bacon strips
2 eggs
2 pieces of toast with a table spoon mayo on each
a block of cheese
1080 cals

shake
2 scoops of whey
300 cals

bagel
2 tbsp mayo
half can tuna
500 cals

2 cups of pasta
alfredo sauce
12 meatballs (frozen foods, 160 cals per 4)
1100 cals

beef burger (frozen foods, about 400 cals)
burger patties
2 tbsp of mayo
700 cals

i forget the exact protien amount but it was about 1.5x for me, and about 3800 calories

I am 26 year old and I weigh about 106lbs at 5'5. I gain and lose weight like crazy. I use to eat pasta everyday like crazy for one month and gained 30lbs in one month and that sh*t gave me heartburns everyday. but I never exercised to hold that weight.

my body fat is less than 5%, I am in pretty good shape, toned body form.

I have come to a conclusion that I need to bulk up first before I start burning calories at the gym.

any tips is appreciated.

I got a fatmans belly n I'm 6' n like 165 last time I checked...tried bulking up during summer for this bball tourney n it, got up to like 172, n It ended up getting cancelled n I been inactive since. Back down to like 162-165 with a whole lot of body fat I think cus I ain't ate healthy for sh*t since then....I don't really care to bulk up, jus lose my belly and tone up a little..don't think my right knee can handle it if I went above 185
