You still not debunking anything here, Kobe was the second best player on Lakers and Shaq was that #1 option. When Shaq was double & even triple teamed they would leave Kobe open, and he still couldn't average below 50% fg

Lebron was the main player on Heat

Jordan was the main player on Bulls

Shaq was main player on Lakers in that 3peat

Can't be two #1 spots playa, it just can't
Oh I agree he wasn't the #1 option. But you're basically saying since he was the second

best player on a team with a top 5 center all time, his rings shouldn't count? Or they lose

they're value when you look back on his career??

They really lose value when your the default #1 option (because Wade is hurt) and your playing in a short season, go to the finals and play against your best friend with no pressure

did you really just underline the 2002 playoffs where kobe scored .2 pts more in the first 3 rounds shooting 41.8% as if he played better than shaq?
a big man shooting 51% isn't any better than a guard shooting 41%

Kobe was a "Role Player"

2000 Playoffs

Shaq = 30.7 ppg

Kobe = 21.1 ppg

the next guy...

Glenn Rice = 12.4 ppg

2001 Playoffs

Shaq = 30.4 ppg

Kobe = 29.4 ppg

the next guy...

Derek Fisher = 13.4 ppg

2002 Playoffs

Shaq = 28.5 ppg

Kobe = 26.6 ppg

the next guy...

Derek Fisher = 10.2 points a fu*king game

By that logic D Wade was carried this year, Scottie was carried by MJ, Cousy & Havlicheck carried Russell and on and on....

But it seems the word "carried" only applies to Kobe...

Players carried to a ring = DJ Mbenga, Adam Morrison, Brian Cardinal, Juwan Howard. Not Kobe. If you don't like him cool, but to say he wasn't vital or he was a role player is just stupid.
Stop...your making way too much sense for them.. The only way Kobe will validate his rings is by winning them without shaq!

oh wait....

mvp, finals mvp, averaging 30 in the playoffs on 50% shooting

not bad for a "default" #1 option

wade and pippen's legacy both took hits when jordan and bron won finals mvp. kobe will always have that against him. if ur not #1 when u win, doesnt rly matter in the big picture. thats just how it works

u kno kobe missed games and played less than 10 mins, scored less than 10 points in 2000 finals and his team still won right

2 out of 7 finals mvps
pippen never had a legacy to start with how old are you

pippen was always the sidekick

so kobe been to 7 nba finals and got 2 mvps whats wrong with that lebron been to 3 finals and lost two and only got 1 mvp it took lebron to hook with wade and bosh to win

I saw them say Lebron will be the starting four man. Does that mean Allen or Battier will be the fifth starter? I'm sure Allen will start if Wade isnt healthy opening night but I'm a.ssuming Wade is healthy.
