that's exactly what a bum would do. who expected him to get up like that? he's not even on any scouting reports. dude has 12 blocks in his career . you sayin bums don't block shots ever?
If he's such a bum why couldn't Ray get his starting spot back from him untill Bradley got hurt?...Ray wasn't shutting NOBODY down on defense and when he shot was off he was almost useless on the court.

dude has a very short span of being an effective player in the league and was not very talented offensively to begin with, and he just majorly fu*ked up both of his shoulders. he has done next to nothing to prove himself in the league. you don't ask ray allen to come off the bench for him if he doesn't want to. he has not established himself to the point where that's a reasonable request.
The fact is when Bradley was starting the Celtics were better then when Ray was. This is unbias opinion. This is fact. So yes you do ask a veteran to do what is best for the teams. It's a team sport.

ray allen was never shutting anybody down period. never stopped him from being a starter. dude had a great season shooting and then was slowed down in the playoffs by bone spurs. he only came off the bench for 12 games lol but it's not like he was going to get his spot back anyway, they made that decision going forward that he would come off the bench.

how did he not prove himself? hes already one of the best on ball defenders in the league and it just became more and more known as the year went on and that was only his "first year"

and we shouldnt have to ask Walter if he wants to come off the bench for someone or not he should do it because it was CLEARLY better for the team in every way

there wasnt a disagreement with what you said but youre making it out like the fans and players shouldnt upset about what he did and we should give him a pass
why does Allen need a pass for doing what's best for him? you can be upset, that's a fan's right, but Allen doesn't need a pass to do what's best for him...the same way Ainge doesn't need to explain himself for trying to trade Ray midseason...

if ur boss tried to get rid of you more than once, you wouldn't take another opportunity that you felt was better for your career? all I'm saying is i'm sure you guys have an idea why he did what he did, people on here making it out like it was all Allen's fault...

he doesnt need a pass for doing whats best for him but for the reasons he did it were because he didnt want to do what was best for the team it was always about Walter and it will always be about Walter hes not a team player he always wants to be "that guy"

you cant be serious everyone on BX is making it out like everything was Boston/Ainge/Rondo's fault and all of the fans/players that are upset about this are all in the wrong and just acting like bi*ches

y'all really think he was that great . he was a role player at best. again, with ray on the bench you played 4 regular season games and 8 playoff games. you hardly had sh*t to prove that was a positive change, and it also coincided with ray being hurt.

 Armen87 said:
wrong. KG was traded.
KG strong-armed the sh*t out of that trade and handpicked what team he went to. he even blocked a trade to boston on their first offer because they didn't have ray, and said "fu*k boston" when asked about it.

If you watch basketball, you'd know kwame aint no bum. He just wasn't worth where he was drafted or the amount of money in the contract he was just given. He's a serviceable big man in the nba.

the decision to bench ray for bradley came later in the season, and ray came off the bench for 4 games of the season. that's what i was referring to. if you really think bradley was the sole reason your team turned it around, instead of say, old out of shape veterans coming into the year out of shape like pierce admittedly was, finally rounding into form and gearing up for the stretch run, then i'll feel sorry for the future of your team. gonna be a rough year with him out indefinitely .
