The real interesting thing about these rankings is that literally there's over a 100 different NBA guys doing it, from the clippers to the knicks writers (I think the knicks have multiple guys involved), to the technical paroxysm, the stats gurus, etc. Then I think they average it out based on all the scores. So it's not like it's skip bayless in his living room jotting names down

I just skimmed through the rating but I don't see any real reason to take it serious considering that Anthony Davis, Beal and Kidd-Gilchrist are all ranked in the top 200 even tho none of them have played an NBA game and the fact that guys like Steph Curry, Ibaka, Eric Gordon, and Irving are all rated above Al Jefferson who carried his team to the playoffs last season.

Not top 5? He wasn't top 5 last year before he had the worst year of his career.

Not even gonna be top 10 this year

is this based on career? last year? or just who they think is the best right now?

ranking nba players much like any athletes in most sports is highly subjective. how do you rank a center compared to a pg? etc

i have melo as top 10 right now. there might be 10 players that would be better to build a franchise around but as far as right now he's a top 10 player in the league no question.
