I don't correct people on twitter, because I believe most users are on their cellular devices where auto correct is usually the cause. However, most browsers today catch spelling errors, or grammatical errors in general.
Personally I don't correct anyone to let "every one" (which implies that everyone was even looking at the correction I pointed out), I do it for myself. What you don't use, you don't retain. If I don't continue to correct people in all forms of my life, especially writing, I'll begin to write and talk just like them. Why do people even get mad about being corrected? I welcome it.
