You know n*ggas don't think it was a give and take. He had a chance to get early playoffs and finals experience and get a few rings, but that stopped him from being able to go stat crazy. In his pigheaded most athletic days he was never allowed to do whatever the fu*k he wanted to do like all the other great one's did. He started as a bench guy sitting behind two all-star guards in eddie jones and nick van-exel, while the other guys got teams and was giving the ball every play. No telling what Kobe's career would have become without that, but I'm certain he'd have prettier stats. But of course to the Kobe haters it's just all pros and no cons to having what he had at the start of his career.
