Potential Violence Brewing Over death Of Chicago Rapper Lil JoJo

A Hip-Hop feud between affiliates of rapper Chief Keef and Lil JoJo could once again, spill over into violence on the streets of Chicago.
The war of words between Lil JoJo’s camp and rappers affiliated with Chief Keef continue over the Internet.
Lil JoJo was k!lled on September 4, after releasing the song “300HunnaK (BDK).”
The words “BDK” stand for “Black Disciple k!ller,” a common insult used by members of the Gangster Disciples, with whom Lil JoJo was allegedly affiliated.
Now, a chilling new remix to Lil JoJo’s “300HunnaK (BDK)” by his close friend/affiliate, rapper Lil Jay #00.
Lil Jay #00 threatens to avenge Lil JoJo’s death and hurls insults at Lil Reese and Lil Durk, two artists working on their debuts for Def Jam Records.
On the track, Lil Jay #00 accuses the two men of setting up Lil JoJo murder, in addition to calling out Black Disciples’ founder “King Dave” Barksdale.
Legendary Chicago producer No I.D. recently commented to MTVNews about the growing gang violence in his hometown of Chicago.
“We’re in this together. It’s a lot of sad things that are occurring every day. Some things are involved in rap and some things are not involved in rap, and we don’t get to see them all,” No I.D said.
During an interview with the Chicago Sun-Times, police said that a gang war, and not Hip-Hop music was to blame for the recent violence.
“Two gangs are f!ghting each other, going at each other all over the Internet and this is all stemming from that,” police said.

lol they bout to try and pin Chicagos murders on hip hop...the media spin is slowly happening.

Do they realized you could remove music from the city completely, and they'd prolly see a spike in murders.

What happened when them 40 people got shot that one weekend....why hip hop aint do it then? lol

It's a truly unfortunate situation.

Chicago is a war zone and these record labels are salivating at the opportunity to profit off the genocide by recruiting teens who provide a soundtrack to the violence.

The rap game was mellow for a while and unified for the most part with the music shifting more towards a party vibe instead of the gunplay/gangbang rhymes that dominated phases in the past but now we have a Midwest movement that's breeding negativity, disrespect and drama.

Hopefully the N.O.I will prove to be an effective community organization and a.ssert themselves in the community with community policing and interventions to curb some of this bloodshed.

Yeah, the kids in Chicago's inner city are lost souls man.

sh*t is almost tragic. Actually it is a tragic because the only people that care in this entire city are those who work directly with them, but besides that NO ONE in this city cares about what happens to them. As long as they stay in their part of the city, its just another news story to people out here that can be forgotten in next five mins.

Honestly I'm not judging either, because there is nothing that can be done. The sh*t is just sad.

They are blaming it on Black people who happen to listen to Hip Hop music.

Don't be silly, Keef brought Hip Hop into this, not the media. All that gang bangin' music along with his tweets, along his his pictures toting guns all give the media reasons for bring Hip Hop into this.

If Black people listen to Rock and Rockers carried themselves in this manner, they'd blame Rock.
