They would be too scared to even stand up with him to get a lucky shot. Plus Tyson had good defense throughout his early career and he probably wouldn't have met that dumb hoe Robin Givens to fu*k up his mental and be one the reasons for his downfall.
Rampage? scared to stand up?

anyway it really depends on how commited he would've been to train for other martial arts dudes saying he would k!ll people would just stand there and take that shot hell they may be right but at the same time he could get his head kicked the fu*k off

Young tyson would be a hard f!ght for anybody all he would need is good takedown defense... Look at what chuck liddell did.. cmon TYSON woulda been crushing fools....breakin jaws and sh*t....
I'm not saying Tyson would have or not learned wrestling but Liddell was a Division I wrestler and that's why he was so hard to take down.

Like I said before, Wrestling isn't just something you learn in a year or two, it's a highly-skilled discipline just like Boxing is. It takes years upon years to master it. GSP is really the only guy in MMA w/o a highly extensive background in wrestling that is able to take guys down the way he does.

i think you just were working with slow learners period, because based on my on personal experience i can say the same thing about wrestlers, BJJ practioners and Karate f!ghters

Boxing is one of the hardest things to learn and there is a science behind that tyson believe it or not studied like he was a fu*king chemist every day with cus and understood fully all the aspects of boxing and executed them

I train in MMA, and have boxed since I was a kid and NOBODY who came up in MMA has good stand up. When I spar with somebody, it's like I'm f!ghting a drunk guy. Hands down, telegraph punches, no head movement, no defense especially to the body. GTFOH you must be boxing some chumps or kids

The Rock doesn't have any high level wrestling experience... maybe he could have gotten Mike down and held him there... it's either that or he gets KTFO quick fast...

Love The Rock on the microphone but he was never a real f!ghter

Tyson would've been a monster in MMA if he put in the work. If he started training for it at 20, dude's standup game would've already been the best in the division (arguably the sport) since he started boxing so young.

All you needa do is add takedown defense, bottom grappling, and submission defense/escapes and you have the recipe for a champion. Dangerous striker that's hard to take down, hard to keep down, and not easily tapped. The Anderson formula.

Only difference is Anderson has the ability to tap you out too. But the HW division has far fewer f!ghters who're BJJ black belts. More f!ghts are standup/wrestling based at that weight. Mike would've dominated for a quick minute. Only losses by submission.

Regarding the slow learning part. You could flip those two disciplines and say the same exact thing. If someone is accustomed to one style for years or for most of their lives of course it would be a difficult transition.
