Cycling is the dirtyest sport in the world. Riders go to extreme lengths to use enhancing drugs.

There were 10 of his old teamates who were going to testify against him if it went to court. Most likly they were approached and agreed to testify against Lance to save their own backs.

The US postal team were all doping together

I find it interesting the Lance decided to give up now as the USDA had a list of witnesses including former teamates ready to testify against Lance.
He said he took the plea to put the allegations behind him

Lance didnt have the balls to admit he was doping

IDK but if i wasnt cheating I think I would go to the end of the world to prove my innocence

You know how easy it is to pass a drug test

The people that help you dope are a step ahead of the testing procedures. everything they test for is out of their systems when they get tested.

only the idiots get caught
It's very easy to pass A drug test... It is not easy to pass 500 drug tests over 10 years... At one point he was almost being tested every other week... Where are these people that are helping him dope??? An entire football team wouldn''t even get tested 500 times combined in a football season... You don't pass that many tests with no slip-ups or some kind of proof of wrong doing... Impossible

Sally Jenkins, who wrote two books with Lance, did an Editorial today about this and she just laid waste to the hypocritical and malicious attacks by USADA.

Here's a link and a snippet from there:

American athletes have lost 58 of 60 cases before the CAS. Would you want to go before that court?

Anyone who thinks an athlete has a fair shot in front of CAS should review the Alberto Contador case. Contador was found to have a minuscule, insignificant amount of clenbuterol in his urine during the 2010 Tour de France. After hearing 4,000 pages of testimony and debate, CAS acknowledged that the substance was too small to have been performance-enhancing and that its ingestion was almost certainly unintentional.

Therefore he was guilty. He received a two-year ban.

CAS’s rationale? “There is no reason to exonerate the athlete so the ban is two years,” one member of the panel said.

Would you want to go before that court?

He's calling the USADA a bunch of fu*king liars. They can shut him down with evidence.
Exactly. I wrote in my blog post (in my sig) about their shady sh*t, pulling accusations out of their a.sses as they go on this single minded witch hunt to get him and only him.

the actual "clean" winners of Lance's TDF years:

For some reason, it is in slide show format, so here are all of the captions:

1999: This was Lance Armstrong's break out year in the Tour de France. He captured his first Tour victory, but if he is stripped, Alex Zulle (right) might be the next in line. He also tested positive but not in 1999.

1999: So if you want to remove Zulle because of past doping offenses, Fernando Escartin is your 1999 Tour winner. Escartin finished third in the 1999 Tour.

2000: If you take Lance's name off the top of 2000, his archrival Jan Ullrich is next in line. Of course, he has his own doping issues that have resulted in his own suspension.

2000: If you toss out Ullrich, Fernando Escartin becomes a two-time Tour de France winner. He also becomes a back-to-back winner. More shocking, Escartin would have won by finishing eighth.

2001: This is a similar situation to 2000. If Lance's win is voided, Jan Ullrich wins. If you want to remove him, the late Andrei Kivilev wins the Tour.

2002: Joseba Beloki has a rich connection to Lance Armstrong that most people don't realize. Beloki nearly k!lled himself during the 2003 Tour, forcing Lance to take to the field. So if you remove Lance, Beloki wins the Tour in 2002.

2002: Joseba Beloki isn't the cleanest rider and does have a dodgy history. So if you want to knock him off too, Lance Armstrong's teammate Jose Azevedo would win the Tour in sixth place.

2003: The 2003 race was one of the closest of Lance Armstrong's Tours. If you remove him, Haimar Zubeldia, who later would ride on Armstrong's Radioshack team, would be crowned the winner. That's if you remove Ullrich.

2004: Andreas Kloden wins the 2004 Tour de France if you remove Lance from the record books. Like Lance, Kloden has never tested positive, but he has faced accusations in the past. If he doesn't win, Jose Azevedo wins his second Tour.

2005: In Lance's swan-song Tour, Ivan Basso would pick up the Tour. Basso, who was a favorite in the post-Lance years, would miss the 2006 Tour and face a ban for "attempting to dope.

2005: If you really want to remove Basso and Lance from the final standings, Cadel Evans (pictured) is your new 2005 winner. He finished eighth in the Tour that year. You could also argue that American Levi Leipheimer could have been the winner since he didn't test positive that year.
