He did it without the crossover bullsh*t on his albums or signing a token-white or doing the obligatory Emenim collab like JayZ, T.I., Wayne, & Nicki....Rozay stuck to his guns and right when you thought he might go PoP to sell more records he dropped the most anti-Pop record of his career with "Hold me Back".
I wonder were this puts him in the HipHop history books:
Four Gold albums, four #1 albums, over 200 features, successful label, undefeated in battle and on the Forbes list.
Not bad for somebody who got there career ended by Fiddy.
you literally couldn't be any more wrong and misguided, and you sound foolish....
Ross TRIED TO GO POP and miserably FAILED at it... you want examples? ok see below.... just do your homework before you say ill sh*t for no reason acting like you know something... he is and always will be a B level artist, if you're the 'hottest' in the game, and the 'biggest rapper' out right now, and you can't break 300k your first week you're perpetuating a fraud and it will catch up to him... but i guess he's always been faking the funk right? and you fu*k boys just accept it right? because its whats 'hot' right now, right? Imagine Wayne, Drake, Jay, Kanye, Eminem, even Andre 3k, dropping an album right now and it doing 200k its first week and people not absolutely going crazy that its over for them... you realize this is the first time Ross has ever even broken 200k his first week right? ... oh and that album is boo boo sticks, teflon don was really good, deeper than rap was pretty good, the rest of his albums are straight basura
and here are your examples of ross' attempts to go pop on this album....
