i couldnt stand Relapse after awhile, it really has no replay value at this point, to me at least... i got really sick of those accents and quick... but i love Recovery, id personally put it up there with his first 3 albums... and i agree with you on the fact that people like that same bullsh*t that has been done over and over and over, only a few rappers do it at this point where it still sounds fresh (Jay, Kanye, T.I., etc)... ive actually seen people say Waka Flocka is one of the best rappers alive... i mean, seriously? i guess it's just taste and where you come from, but i seriously dont understand the infatuation with him.. i listened to his Triple F Life album and i thought i was listening to one super long a.ss song the whole time.
I still rock relapse...everyone complains about the accents but I barely notice them.except on some tracks like..bagpipes,hello and must be the ganja other than that I don't think its much different than the voices he has do ne on the first 2 albums

Why is everybody focusing on the last 2 albums? Do SS LP, MM LP and Eminem Show not count anymore cause he made 2 bad albums. Two of the those 3 albums are top 10 Rap Albums of all time

Basing Eminem Career off of Encore and/or Relapse = bi*chassness
they don't count because the eminem show was a decade ago. not having a great album in 10 years after 3 tries doesn't give you that much clout with people

Which of those 3 are even close to being "top ten rap albums of all time"?

None of them are even classic albums. They all aged terribly
exactly

i got tired off hearing eminem show after 2 months, same with mmlp

his constant temporary remarks about nsync, moby, and other bullsh*t dont help with longetivity, people in 50 years can still listen to 2pac and understand what he was talking about

then they listen to eminem- a.ss like that and hear some sh*t like "i need a new boyfriend, hi my name is jojo" and go then they listen to him wanting to k!ll his mom and notice how relevant that is to their lives/society

eminems music is hardly relatable, that's why it ages horribly

Not even strictly relating to it, its just not good music

The MMLP got a lot of hype because of the shock content. It was

"OMG what is this white boy saying"

But once that shock wore off, you were left with an average album where 90% of the songs sound like garbage today

Even the only classic song on that album "Stan", Do you ever go back to bump that song... Like ever?

Em died when Proof died.....

He already proved everything......He's got nothing to show for anymore. He's doing this because he loves hip hop and music in general. He's gonna try something new again.... Relapse was a dark album, Recovery was full of mainstream sh*t......I doubt he's gonna go back to his old days.....Music has changed since then and i don't think he's got it in his anymore to make songs such as those on MMLP, SSLP, and TES. Just be happy with what you get....If you don't like it then don't listen.....

Em is one in a million.....

yea i always thought that too, sh*t only became popular cuz he was being a rapping pop icon.. like the "bad guy" in mainstream media

some of his songs were catchy in 2000-2003 but that was when i was like 10-13, i never went back and listened to anything from his albums again

word, i dont even think his fans listen to that sh*t regularly, "stan" might be a decent concept, but it has a corny ending and an incredibly boring execution.. 6 minutes full of letters and the same boring unrelated hook all over again, sh*t was unlogical too

i also find it astounding how some people still listen to sh*t like "superman" and pretend its timeless music, really?

"sh*t like superman" was a generalization, also include other garbage like without me or cleaning out my closet

and i dead on heard stans say they still bump superman and will listen to that til they die "because eminem show is timeless!!!"

SSLP is easily a top album. You not liking it doesn't take away its wordplay, storytelling, metas, flow.... Dude WAS an ace back then.
