No one can predict when a man who has no history of violence does something like this. Its a piece of society that loves to fu*k people over for whatever they have......they fu*ked america by giving the government a reason/purpose to create Tort Reform. Now dumb a.sses like this get no money but the people who are really hurt dont get sh*t.

in 1992 big business and the media made it seem like this lady was just trying to get a quick buck and we all believed them

im kinda mad he sued Warner Bros because in the future the could have to start getting insurance for bullsh*t like this if he wins and then thats more money it cost to make the movie and so on and so forth and in the end good movies dont get made and consumers lose. they already are taking a huge hit not being able to promote for the movie cuz nobody wants to see a preview for it right before or after a news article about people dying seeing it.

Y'all know that if people start suing movie theaters for stuff like this, ticket prices will go up exponentially.

If they gotta hire extra security, they are not going to absorb the cost. They're just gonna push the extra expense onto the consumer.

Thats why I question the acumen of everyone supporting this nonsense.

Im all for civil suits, under the right circumstances.

sh*t, If you get in your brand new car and the breaks go out on you due to a factory defect and you're hurt or paralyzed, Im all for you filing a civil suit to help with the cost (medical and other) of living your life now.

I just hate when people try file civil suits for strictly financial motives. Dude's boy probably aint even buried yet and he already plotting on how to make a buck off of his death..

Warner bros will f!ght the little d!ckhead over this one. The theater for sure but the doctor and Warner bros are another. How many doctors continuously check on individuals? It was Holmes responsibility to get his medication filled and HIS responsibility to take the medication.

And why would WB have sh*t to do with this? Now are they going to ban any type of violence in movies because motherfu*kers can't handle fantasy from reality? Get real.

I watched the trailer. It's obviously a documentary that takes the stance of defending people who have filed lawsuits that were seen as frivolous by the public.

Just because it's in a documentary, doesn't mean that it isn't bias. Just ask this guy

n*gga. Im sorry, but its common knowledge that coffee is hot and if you spill it on yourself, you will be burned.

No documentary trailer is gonna make me feel bad about pointing out the frivolousness of a lawsuit.

The same way how its known that fast food is not good for you, yet people wanna sue and say McDonalds made me fat.

sh*t like this is why REAL issues get tied up for so long in the judicial system. Its clogged up with bullsh*t.
You should watch that hot coffee documentary, I thought it a bs lawsuit until I read up on it. McDonalds had received over 700 complaints that their coffee was too hot, And doctors all said that at the temperature that they served their coffee that anyone who tried to drink it right away would burn their tongue and throat. The woman who sued only wanted 15k for her medical bills, McDonalds bullsh*tted and lost big time.

You sir, are an idiot

Because frivolous lawsuits clog up the judicial system. Thats the problem with people in this country. Just because one entity has a lot of money (that they have worked for), everyone thinks they are entitled to some of the pot. Not how it works buddy.

Also, I hope you one day have cause to file an important lawsuit and it gets caught up in the system for YEARS, because of all the dumb cases they gotta weed out before they can get to yours.
Who are you to say what's frivolous or not? I know their's scams out there and Im fully aware of the greed with-in people. At the same time when's the last time you stood next to your best friend when he got shot and murdered? You can't discount how the mind will react to traumatic situations. To be honest I can't wrap my head around going to the movies right now either in fear of copycats. My comment is based on the lack of credibility for any of us to claim oh he's just greedy or money hungry.

Then everybody's anger seems to be because he's suing WB and It's like oh why sue them they make my favorite movie oh, oh. The same company that would sue you for 50k for downloading a single copy of the this film or using a second of footage. My point is lawsuits are going to happen, let them work themselves out in court. Stop judging a situation that you were not in and showing your inbred a.ss over race.

The companies will low ball the sh*t out of him before court cuz they know a judge will laugh his a.ss off at this lawsuit. He's filing a lawsuit before any of the families that actually lost someone are. GTFOH with that.
