That last f!ght scence between the cops and the inmates was horrendous. Outside of batman and bane no one was f!ghting. It reminded me that i was watching a movie...my only big gripe about the movie.
I agree with this, though the idea was to get primal. That's how wars were fought once.

I couldn't see a bunch of malnourished cops, held in darkness for nearly six months, came out ready for war against trained mercenaries and deranged criminals with automatic weapons. Mind you now, these were cops who've enjoyed something of a "peace time" for eight years since Dent's death.

I don't understand how the camera focused on

I really didn't like how Bane went from brilliant terrorist mastermind to an unleashed bulldog, but I understand it.

I don't get how Batman is anti-guns, but all of his vehicles have heavy ammunition.

All that said, I loved the movie. And I think too many people are wasting too much time trying to compare villains on an uneven checklist. Bane is Ra's Al-Ghul with aggression and ability magnified a thousand times. His goal was for a greater good. Joker was his own entity.

Bane and Ra's both wanted to destroy Gotham. Joker wanted to destroy spirits and society's conventions. The motives are too different for it to be a reasonable comparison.

Both Bane and Joker are remarkably charismatic, though. While Joker dealt with deception, Bane was a bulldozer that calculated his wreckage.

I loved the Joker because he was written so well. The guy is a liar through the whole movie and a master manipulator. There are the obvious (like wanting to get caught), and then the subtle: convincing Harvey Dent that he never has plans and just does things (as if it wasn't a plan to wire two warehouses with explosives and separate Batman from the cops).

Bane, though, maaan, listen. He was more menacing because he didn't want to play. And he was different from the prior villains because he really wanted to k!ll Batman. Ra's Al-Ghul was reckless, leaving him in the burning mansion because part of him wanted Bruce as a sidekick. The Joker thought he "was too much fun." But Bane? He was down for the torture and the k!ll.

did anyone else feel like they should have ended the movie with Alfred looking up and smiling, leaving it to the public to a.ssume he finally did see him at the cafe? it kinda upset me that knowing Nolan's style, he would make it very obvious and cliché by showing him.

I also didn't like how Bane grabbed Batman's fist TWICE.... Why can't Batman shoot the arrows from his gauntlet at Bane like he did with the Joker?

They were durable enough to break Ra's Al Ghul's sword in the first movie....

He should produce it. I want Nolan to be done w/ Batman and work on something original the rest of his career.

You know what I still don't understand?

Why couldn't they just say somebody else k!lled Harvey Dent?

Would it really have been that hard to say it was The Joker? They could've said The Joker k!lled him before all that business with the ferries leaving Gotham. When the cops show up to rescue Gordon he could just say "Yeah... I just found his body right here. We'll do an investigation or some sh*t." then just plant some quick evidence that links it all to the Joker... DONE. Batman's rep is saved.

TDK was good but my thing with that is if you take the Joker out its average. Plenty ppl say that so my thing is what makes it overall better than TDKR. I think most people are so invested in the Joker that they are kind of blinded by art. If u take characters out of TDKR the movie is still epic.

For me both movies offered me something I think overall the 2 are very good movies but i dont think u can really compare because they are to very different types of movies. TDKR calls for more of a story fed pace and TDK calls for a more of a chaos thrill seeking pace.

All in all in boils down to TDKR is the better movie acting and story wise (the dialogue was beyond good) and TDK had the better character in the Joker.

this is one instance where i will compare ironman/avengers watching those movies i get the sense that faverue and whedon actually like the character/s

watching this series i never got the sense that nolan actually enjoyed making them or liked the characters. Its like he felt like he was slumming it so to speak making these movies and he was going to show everyone how much smarter he is

the ending complete gives it away how dumb he thinks the audience is with wayne and catwoman at the restaurant.

you didnt need to see wayne at the end they flat out spelled it out that he was alive all you needed was alfred nodding and end it. I felt that was nolan just being a douche to the audience and saying your to dumb to get that hes still alive
