Just completed my first full listen. I am very pleased with this album. It comes across as very honest and autobiographical. Like someone else said, this is grown folks Hip Ho but it definitely has some sort of extra flair to it. Keep in mind that my opinion is only based off one full listen, but I can see how people are saying this is on Stillmatic's level (which is Nas' 2nd or 3rd best album to me).

Stillmatic had a few more songs that just totally blew my socks off when I heard them. However, Life is good seems more consistent all the way through. There are a lot of songs that are REALLY good even though they are not incredible, and there also aren't any horrible duds like you get on a lot of his albums (ie Braveheart party).

ps-The production was on point too.

Pretty much. I still gotta wait until I get home and listen to it with some headphones, and since it's only been out like 4 hours I'm hesitant to put it above Stillmatic, but it's damn close. Also IWW and The Lost Tapes is a toss up for me but that doesn't even matter right now.

The GOAT definitely came through

Yea lol but all that matters is LIG is in that Stillmatic/God's Son tier which is what everyone was expecting and hoping can't ask for much more.

Man just the way these first two or three listens hit me somethin crazy i haven't felt this way about a Nas album since i was pre teen when the first time i heard Lost Tapes which was a amazing listening experience for me (which is why it is so high on my list) sh*t is wild fu*kin grown a.ss music i can see myself listening to this for a long time...but hey i only heard this album a few times so maybe my opinion is subject to change but i doubt it i really enjoyed this album more that i thought i would.
