Movie was ok and 3D version sucked balls. Complete waste of money imo. sh*t dragged on and ddint seem to finish with not enough action, seemed more of a love movie then a spiderman movie. Emma Stone is hot as fu*k btw

I can see how someone could say that.

The Avengers had little plot and a ton of action.

Spiderman is the inverse of that, but I couldn't imagine either being done any different.

It comes down to what you enjoy from a movie I guess.

Either way, its a great movie.

The Avengers 8.5/10
The Amazing Spiderman 7.8/10
The Dark Knight 8.4/10

I'm more of a action guy over plot, but so The Avengers is hands down my favorite hero movie.

Different villain, different live interest, better Peter Parker & Spider-Man. I'm excited to see what this series has to offer next.
This is kind of why I really liked this movie. There could have been more action but I liked it because I feel like it is setting up the entire series. They are going to run with the parents/background story for probably three movies.

I was/am never into the comic books so I do not get too technical with sh*t. The Lizard was kind of cool but I think a better villain is in store in the future.

8.5/10

I wasn't expecting this to be better than the first 3 movies but it definitely surprised me. Garfield and Stone were perfect together, the action sequences were fast paced and exciting, the web swinging sequences were better and the support cast was all better.

I was just disappointed that they didn't write more funny dialogue for him because the scene with the car jacker had everyone in the theater laughing.

just saw it

LOVED:
The fact that he was conscious of where he shot his web. He would hit the buildings and have to walk on them, they needed the cranes, he tied his webs to the bridge etc. in the other ones that pissed me off how hed just shoot it in the air and all of a sudden hed be flying in a straight line. or hed shoot something out and someone would land in a fully built web

Likes:
Acting - waaaaay better than the other series, and honestly, most comic movies. i dont know if it was the cast or the acting direction but it was so much more natural and convincing
Action - f!ght scenes were great, lizard posed a legit threat to spidey, and the last 20 min or so were pretty exhilarating.
Lizard - Good CGI, great actor

[spoiler - click to view]

Dislikes:
Pacing of the first 2/3rds..fu*k was that? It was so episodic (first bonds with ben, peter loses ben, peter gets to know gwen, gwen likes that sh*t, connors gets annoyed, connors becomes lizard)...they didnt weave it together well at all
Connor's character arc was kinda stupid. he gets pushed into doing it then decides he likes it and wants more then
[spoiler - click to view]

it seemed against his character to even want to carry out his plot
Why the fu*k was cpt. stacy worrying about spider man at the end? did he not see or hear about the humongous lizard monster by then? seemed unnecessary and unrealistic

overall, 7/10. good fresh start for the series

meh...

I seen it in 3D(only because the original was sold out and we agreed to do next earlier show)...I didn't think it was worth it. Then again after seeing Avatar and pixar films in 3D, I hold every 3D movie to that standard

First time we agree on something. 3D is a PoS expect for the last sequence in the movie.

I give it 8/10 the story was a little slow to pick up but Captain America was even slower though. I like how after the credits they plant the seed for ASM 2 but this movie could of had a lot more action in it imo.

After seeing it a second time yesterday I'ma change it to 7/10. I really have a problem with the way things were rushed, the way the Doc Conners angle went & to a degree the pacing. It's still a good film but there are flaws without a doubt.

Just turned it to FX SP2 is on. It was on the part when Peter hung up w/ Mary Jane and was tearing up and said "I wish I could tell you how I feel about you"
