i own the 99 accord presently so I'm impartial to automatically pick that car. But after recently helping my mom find a car (we ended up getting a 98 camry for $2300) I would honestly pick the avalon. It is the closest you will get to a lexus without being a lexus. It basically is an entry level lexus without the name (if that's what you care about anyway)... I only drive sticks so avalon is out the question for me since they dont come in manual trans. but if that wasn't the case, I would choose avalon over accord.

the camry my moms bought has ABSOLUTELY NO GET UP. you have to smash that bi*ch to the floor to get it to move...which is fine for her so I'm glad you don't have camry as an option...unless its v6.....but I believe the avalon doesn't come with anything less than a v6 and leather on even the lower end models. MY accord is only a 4 cylinder but I can get up pretty quickly with my stick...never driven an automatic one so can't say. I will say my moms camry ride smooth as hell so I would be willing to bet the avalon probably drive even smoother.

you really cant go wrong with any of these if it was taken care of right (which you really have no way of knowing aside from looks/guessing). The acura would be my last choice just because it would be a bit pricier to repair due to it not being as common of a car brand as toyota and honda. then again, its made by the same company as honda so you will barely need to repair the sh*t I would say...so...that's my $0.02

the acura looks the best. you'll probably save the most gas and have the least mechanical problems w/ the accord.

if you choose the accord, make sure it isn't a V6. The 1998 - 2002 V6 model's are notorious for transmission problems.

The acura CL above uses the same transmission (2001-2003).

My girl and friend had the same car, both V6 models and both of their transmissions went out.

BRO GET THE fu*kING TOYOTA... its the highest level of luxury car on the toyota lineup. even if you get an older one it still have nice luxury amenities. not to mention you can get a toyota up to 200,00 miles DEPENDING ON HOW YOU MAINTAIN THE CAR.

I would stay away from the Acura...it would be the best car on the list but it has known transmission problems and they previously extended the factory warranty on it to 110k miles because of all the problems...So overall I would say get the Avalon take care of it and itll last 4ever!

I have a Acura CL Type S as well, just gotta have that paper saved up in case that tranny goes but my sh*t rides smooth and gives no real problems as long as you take care of it
You sayin that sh*t like its a small thing.

Isn't the tranny on that model notorious for fu*kin up? Or is that the RL?

Avalon...210 hp, FF, four door, vvt-i, good crash test ratings in all areas. Good on gas and reliability is good...

U need something close to stock rims not those sad chromes, if you want good gas mileage...I would suggest Lexus IS300 rims or something in that area...

Accord...first two are stupidly riced out...ish looks ugly...like when people put big a$$ rims on buicks...not to mention, that accord will last you...not saying the ac or the avy wouldnt but being riced out, the owners probably drove them like hell thinking theyre cool

as much as im a honda fan...ive seen problems with that acura and that accord (v6 tranny problems)

so i'd have to admit the Toyota Avalon is the best choice of the three.

Honda Accord is tried and true. Great gas mileage, you'll have it for many years. My parents bought Hondas throughout my life. They're great. We crashed every single one of them though

The avalon, hands down. Just change oil and whatever it needs maintenance wise, like brakes etc and it will last forever. Problem free cars too.
