what's the problem with improving the team? and no they don't need more help as they showed this season...but more help shouldn't be turned away, good teams consistently try to improve the roster, so be out with that sh*t...

I take it you haven't read Bill Simmon's article about how KG and Paul Pierce were Freiza to LeBron's Goku? Read it. LeBron would never OK the signing of KG. Ray Allen is a good guy so that probably would be fine. But not KG.
That n*gga hates KG!!

I'd be thrilled if Miami was able to land Ray Allen & Lamar Odom

Odom's length & versatility would be invaluable to this team

Allen would replace the long range shooting Miami is going to lose with the potential departures of James Jones & Mike Miller

Odom is already accustomed to coming off the bench for a championship contending team

Will Ray Allen take a lesser role for the chance to become a champion again or will he latch onto another contender (Clippers, Bulls) if he's promised a starting spot?

Franchises dont win back to back like they used to lakers are the last to do in any league .

That was literally 2 years ago

You said that as if it was in the 1950's.

And NBA is the main sport where one team can win many championships in a row because one player in NBA means more to the team then in any other sport.

I'd love to give Odom another shot. Even though he was only here for a year he really bought into the "Heat culture" and that one year is what shaped him into a true professional. Too bad what happened to him in Dallas last year.

I wouldn't sign him for the mini mid level though because of the risk factor. He's got some serious mental issues that need to be ironed out. Whoever we use that exception on has to be a lock to improve the team and contribute consistently, as it's our best way to improve the team via acquisition. That needs to be a big, or a Ray Allen/Jason Terry sharpshooter.

What does LO have to lose, really? Who is gonna offer him a solid deal? If he enters minimum territory then he's a perfect match.

This team at full strength goes 16-0 in the playoffs:

G - Chalmers / Cole
G - Wade / Jesus
F - LeBron / Battier
F - Odom / Haslem
C - Bosh / Camby

Closing line up: Wade/Jesus/LeBron/Odom/Bosh

You can survive defensive liabilities at pg several teams have done it (including the heat just now).

Chalmers is a beast defensively. Don't know what the fu*k you're watching.

I'd still GLADLY take Nash on the team though.

Champions don't usually do well in the free agent market. These players usually feel like they want to push the team over the hump...not just hop on the bandwagon. Look for OKC or something to pull these. Or them staying loyal.

Players will be joining up with the nWo chasing rings for the next several years, don't know what the fu*k you're talking about.

They need a better center. Camby would be the best for the team. The point guards are developing and Wade doesn't want to share time with Ray. No one wants to compete with Lebron at SF. Bosh is good in his position so I don't think they would replace him. Center, thats it.

nothing worse then a so called superstar who cant get it done with his team so he just goes and joins the winners. have some pride in your game and EARN a ring NBA vets!
Nash deserves a ring. Ray has a ring and just wants another to one up his peers on that Celtics team

Get used to it, a lot of star players without rings will be finishing their careers in Miami the next several years.

I think Cole will wind up better defensively due to his quickness. It'll be tougher when he faces bigger guards tho like Deron and the like.

Personally I think Miami should just draft a big if they can't get Camby. In the regular season, people like Joel and Bosh are fine at center but when you get into the playoffs you gotta get someone who is defensively bigger than those two guys I feel. I think Miami can win with both but Joel barely played in the Finals and looks how well they did.

Try to get Ray. Don't see Nash coming. Don't think it'd work either since he'd get ate on defense against people like Rose, Rondo and other really athletic PGs in the East.

None, Chalmers is devloping nicely as a starting PG. Wade will always have the SG. LeBron as SF. Haslem as PF and Joel anthony/Turiaf at C. Only the center position is lacking.
Chris Bosh not starting in your starting 5?

You could have Lebron or Wade playing the 1 with Ray Allen at the 2 whenever you feel necessary. To say the Heat couldn't use a player like Ray Allen is just fu*king stupid. He is the PERFECT fit for Miami.
