Disappointed with the lack of DJ Premier, AZ, RZA, Large Professor (production-wise) and the inclusion of mostly all Rami beats..

I have faith in Nas.

Why does Nas bring up working w/ PREMIER, PETE ROCK, AZ, HAVOC & ALCHEMIST almost every album but they never end up on the final version of his album?? So where are these songs he did with them??

& Where is that Street sh*t song everybody was flipping out about at the listening session?

I hope this album doesn't end up being a Hip Hop Is Dead pt.2. The album was solid but he changed the tracklisting at the last minute and threw songs on there that ended up being the worst on the album. It could've been better if he chose the right songs.

I still think Salaam Remi's sound is going to compliment No I.D.'s production on this album but he is on too many tracks. I'm a little uncomfortable now. Him & Nas gotta be like best friends or something. I bet he makes himself 100% available when Nas is ready to work. That's why he fu*k w/ him. I don't even think Nas knows we're not big fans of Salaam Remi's dusty sound. he's too hit or miss. He beats always sound like they're missing something and when he samples he doesnt change up the sample much at all.

two - at all you morons talking yourself into getting the 1995 NAS. dude is a nobody now and has been for over 10 years, just face the facts.
three - 100 bucks says the swizz beatz song is the worst song on the album

Nah...Premier and Pete Rock need to be on this joint. At least a co-production.

Would have rather had NO I.D. produce the majority and Salaam Remi do 2 or 3 tracks.

NO I.D. is more versatile. Salaam is cool but sometimes his tracks are SUPER plain and dont challenge Nas enough. Just my opinion. I'm still going to listen though. Maybe the NO I.D tracks made Salaam step his game up.

I'm not a fan of Remi or Swizz either, but give them a chance and listen to the beats/songs as if you didn't know who the producer was. I believe that if Nas had a beat produced by Remni and acted like it was from premo or alchemist, people would actually say it was hot because of who the producer was. I truly believe that would happen in a lot of cases.

Alot of NO ID, this is great news.
Hopefully its a great album from Nas again, his last few albums did nothing for me (especially production wise), he is capable of much more. With NO ID on so many tracks this could be classic.
