Remember in one of the theories posted, they said that the Engineers were mad about one of them being k!lled by Humans? Like how the Romans did Jesus Christ, it seems like that Engineer (With the Engineer) is like Jesus Christ, he created life and etc. Then the Engineers after coming to Earth a few times steadily saw how fu*ked us we have gotten and decided to off us
Jesus Christ sacrificed himself for our Sins, or am I wrong? I forgot I ain't religious.
"If you look at it as an 'our children are misbehaving down there' scenario, there are moments where it looks like we've gone out of control, running around with armor and skirts, which of course would be the Roman Empire. And they were given a long run. A thousand years before their disintegration actually started to happen. And you can say, 'Let's send down one more of our emissaries to see if he can stop it.' Guess what? They crucified him."
quote from ridley scott pretty much confirms that one of the engineers was jesus, i guessed that kind of after the movie my friend asked me why she decided to go back to wearing the cross and beliving in god after she saw all of that sh*t to go against that belief. I said maybe the engineers were the god she believed in in the first place. It was Christmas during the whole thing too.
i loved the movie, the only thing thats k!lling me is what the hell did the android say to the engineer??
my guess is he just told him what they were telling him to say, but the engineer already knew humans were corrupt since he was planning on bringing "death" to earth. My friend seemed to think that he told the engineer to k!ll them and that they were corrupt. since before he said something about him being free if they were to die, and something along the lines of "doesn't everyone want their parents dead" which makes me second guess what I thought, and seemed very plausible.
