Exactly what I said... Which isn't a bad thing. Not sure how it'll be to get used to the joystick positioning, but 360 is my favorite controller ever, so it should be pretty good.

Doesn't this defeat the purpose of the whole screen on the controller thing?

I'm pretty sure that's the only enticing feature for the Wiiu over other next gen consoles right?

Depends on who you're talking to. Some people may not care for the touch screen at all.

As for this controller; I'm a bit skeptical about the stick positions, and the D-pad needs individual arrows (like the DualShock's D-pad).

If you don't care for the controller, why buy the console? I just don't see the purpose of this controller yet.

I dont think anyone said this controller is innovative. "Nintendo Lost" is in the title of the thread.

Just cause the joysticks/dpad are in the same position makes them the same controller? I usually respect your opinion, but you can't be serious.

How did they lose? Because they realize xbox has the best controller?

all they did was change the stick location and keep the same kind of ergonomic feel to it.

this is a smart move by nintendo.

cosign

True, Nintendo jacked the Xbox controller.

But Nintendo was the first to do trigger buttons and the first to do analog sticks.

Nintendo is some OGs. Sony & MS owe anyway

At least they're appealing to real gamers who don't want to use gimmick touchscreen or motion controllers
